Note: Arnaud is an ancestor I made up for Desmond, but I only use him for extra ancestral references since I'm not really into OCs. He's French Revolution-era, and the Clarisse mentioned was his girlfriend until Templars took her away. Thing is, Arnaud thought she had betrayed him... you can fill in the blanks.

Policy:

I don't publish ANYTHING (usually) until the entire story is done. This is because I am an extremely busy person, and I have advanced classes, multiple extra-curriculars, a life, and a future job in addition to my writing career. I don't want to disappoint anyone with updates every five years or anything. Plus, it allows me to better bring the entire story together and edit easily to my heart's content.

Also, I do not discriminate pairings. I have my pairings that I like above the rest, but if you have a different one, and you write it well, that's mondo cool. Be tolerant, guys.

As for when I update my longer stories, I update every Monday and Friday. Story to start your week and finish it. Yay! My oneshots I just publish whenever.

Other:

I'd just like to say that I'm most proud of American Dream right now. I think it's one of my better recent oneshots, followed by Love Is Watching. The reason I chose that name, by the way, is because of its ambiguousness. It can mean that Love, as in a personification of love, is watching someone die, or it can mean that the definition of love is watching someone die.

And for those of you wondering what all that talk about blood and lintels was, it was a reference to the Bible and the Old Testament, the story of Moses. In order to be saved from the final plague, the death of every first born child, in the series of plagues sent by God down on Egypt (to convince Pharoah to free the Hebrews), the Hebrews sacrificed a lamb for every household and painted the lintels (the board above the door) and the door posts (the sides of the door) with the lamb's blood. I won't tie it in directly with the story here in order to keep out spoilers, but those of you who know, do you understand now? Awesomesauce. Because I was (and am) proud of that allusion.

I was very obsessed with Silverstein when I wrote those.

Now I'm obsessed with another musical phenomenon called Razia's Shadow. It's an unstaged musical written by Thomas and Paul Dutton, released under the band Forgive Durden, and it. Is. Amazing. I have never listened to something so dazzling and gorgeous in my entire existence, and it's not just the music, it's the story. It is pure genius that cannot possibly be described properly by mere words. Go listen to it. I promise it will not be a waste of time.
