If you expected some tips, well... I'm too lazy to write what most people write (which is reaaaaaally long, and some are copy-paste), so yeah no tips for ya. Maybe? I have no idea.

Stuff I like, *thinks about it throughly*...yeah there's stuff I like. Not that it would be interesting, definitely not. I find it a little annoying that everytime people list the things they like, they put it on a list. It's the easiest thing to do, but it becomes annoying when there's an excessive amount of it. If you DO have the free time to read all of this, I like One Piece okay? Is all of the questioning over? good.

I feel like Fanfiction.net has become a rather dull site lately. If you go to the story/crossover section, you'll very rarely find good fics. It's frustrating in many ways, and it makes me question if I should or not stay on this website at all. This is how I've classified a few anime fanfiction sections as.

One Piece

There are only about 100 or more stories that do not have the following.

-Tragalfar Law, he is extremely overused, LawLu or not. At least some have creativity in them, sadly most of them are romance.

-ASL and the Whitebeard pirates, you can't go in 10 fics before finding one of these. I honestly don't understand sometimes how people can't create something other that this. I can't tell you how many fanfics I gave up on after I heard the name Marco being mentioned.

-Romance. I can understand if people like these kinds of things, but at this point it isn't even funny when you see that amount of these. If you were to use the filters, and take out romance. Half of all the stories in this section would be taken out. Half of all One Piece fanfictions are romance. The main story doesn't even have romance as one of their main categories.

- Nami and Zosan/Lawlu, the masters at deceiving the no romance filters. I know that Nami is not very strong and that a lot of people here relate with her, but there are many other characters like that as well. How many times have I tried to find a story based on Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper, and found nothing but thirteen? Even then two of them had "fem!Luffy", one of them had Mr. Overused Ace, and only two of them surpassed the 10k mark. Let me be honest here, I do not enjoy Zosan and Lawlu fics. but for some reason I can't get rid of them no matter what filter I use. It's almost exactly the same as trying not to find Harry Potter and or Naruto crossover fics using filters.

- Fem! Of any character, wait excuse my french. I meant the SI OC that takes over Luffy as a female. I've seen stories that don't have any of this, but for the most part... it's just a rehash of the same exact story. Seriously writers, What difference would it make if Luffy was girl or a boy ln his quest! it's not like his personality somehow changes completely right? That's where my second point comes in, OC that takes over the place of Luffy. I have seen very few good OC. The rest of the OCs fit into the Mary Sue category, where this Luffy has knowledge of absolutly everything for being an ex-otaku, and defeats every foe without beading a sweat.

-Smarter! Luffy, the stories that take away the one thing that gives Luffy some humanity. Sure, Luffy may be strong physically and dumb mentally. But that is what makes him Luffy! It's thanks to his personality that we got through all of the anime/manga right? It's like per say... a dumb! Robin, or a Bashful! Franky.

There are so many ideas people can use from both anime and manga to make great stories! What if all the strawhats except Luffy died througout the 3d2y break? how would Luffy react? How would his journey continue? What if Usopp didn't join Luffy but rather, made his own crew through lies/trickery. His crew doesn't even need to be all OCs, it could all just be fodder! How about a story where Luffy begins his journey a week from where he was supposed to? Think of all the events that would have occured because he was a week late! The One Piece fanfiction section will always intrigue more than any other.
