I am both happy and vastly disappointed in myself. I'm happy because my grades this quarter look pretty good. . . However, I am disapointed in myself realising that half the stories on my profile are currently "dead" unfinished works. (We're talking 8 stories out of 19) and the others are mostly short one shots. I should fix that. . . Though the question is do I remove the unfinished works, or "dust them off" and start again?

Anyone have an opinion?

My profile picture is basically how I felt at a recent drill. Let me say, that now I understand just how likely that "Jedi Mind Trick" scene really is. Grinning in sarcastic amusement Ah well, everyone has an off day here and there. I'm about half way through finals and have managed to get up and post an entry for a contest on the DN writers Faction forum. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5522390/1/First_Time_for_Everything I'm not statusfied with my finished product, but time got a little tight and I've got some pressure going at home. (Did anyone out there know that it's way worse when a formerly violent male gives the silent treatment? It's unnerving, and annoying at the same time.) I'm going to be honest here, mainly because I doubt anyone who knows me in person will see it: I really don't want to go home. I just don't really have much choice at the moment.

Okay, on that cheerful note I still have one more research project and another final before I can even think the words "down time".

I don't even know what I am thinking at the moment folkes. It's close to Veteran's Day and the news yesterday and Fort Hood just kind of has my head spining. My heart goes out to the victims and their families, though I know it does nothing to help them.

Okay, I know I've been getting pretty quiet again but I swear I haven't disappeared on you. I'm holding down a full time class load so I've been trying to focus on that. I hadn't taken any "normal" serious classes since 2002 to be honest and was a bit afraid of getting distracted. Right now I have decent marks in all but one class, which I am trying to pull out of a nose dive in. That said, I am kicking around some new ideas. I'm a little nervous because I am looking to post at least one new One Shot storie that should be longer and more complete than what I've put out recently. Also I've been talking to three friends that, though we're friends, I'd nearly cut ties on here with. We've been discussing a colaboration but I don't know if I'll pitch in yet. The undertaking is a major series of seperate stories for the Anime: Sailor Moon section.

Recently I've hit a bit of a low point, extremly tired. What does this mean for my writing, reviewing, and or posting? Well, the last time I got toward this feeling I sort of took a vacation from all my normal stuff. I did write, and I got some good reviews, but it wasn't anywhere near my normal style. So, I guess, expect fewer reviews out of me and possibly some random works popping up.

Happy Halloween to everyone out there! Hope you have your costumes, I personally plan to be a Death Eater. grin Oh, yeah, I am just that much of a dork. I also recruited two other Death Eaters to dress up with me and hand made five wands. So, now we know what I've been doing when I wasn't doing homework, sitting in a class or helping care for somebody who will remain unnamed.

Quick note regarding my avatar image: Yes, for any who know what it is, it is mine and I do have documentation for it. I'll probably change the image soon, but this was at hand while I look for something new.

I finally remember to fix the "wall of text" issue with Carry On Dancing. When I typed it originally it wasn't a wall of text, but after I posted it at the time I never looked back to see if the formating held. I've noticed that depending on the program used, or file type saved stories seem to lose things like spacing, Italics, BOLD and the like. Really this means I should be inteligent enough to hit the little "live preview" button when I post. . . But the story in question was originally posted around 7 years ago. Still, I'm sorry to anyone who tried to read the "wall of text" and I will try to be more careful in the future.

Sept, 2009:

I throw myself on the mercy of the readers out there as I just checked the live preview of my latest post. I winced when I saw it, fan fiction's upload system took out every "" mark in the entire document. Needless to say that I hate that fact. I will attempt to get that issue fixed tonight. (What is is with the uploads at times? Hass anyone noticed that something may be normal to upload, and two months down the road the system messes with it?)

Hi, I'd like to reintroduce myself. I joined this site at least eight or more years ago and started posting. I got involved in my life heavily and became little more than a silent reader off and on for a number of years. Now I am trying to start back a little but I feel the need to warn anyone out there reading that I have a job that can sometimes put VERY heavy demands on my time. (Meaning I may be away from a computer or lacking any personal time for a year or more sometimes)

I like realplayer but it was a headache to get working when I got a new computer. Not sure I have all the bugs worked out but if you get to where the download button wont appear do yourself a favor and try disabling all your Explorer add ons except realplayer. My guess is that a lot of pop up blockers and the like mess with it. (Or maybe it just is a touchy program, who knows)
