![]() Author has written 21 stories for Harry Potter. Hmm. I suppose there's not really much to say about me. I'm a girl, in the words of Margaret Atwood, kidnapped by literature at a young age, who's never wanted to be held for ransom. I'm a fan of the classics and more typical reading list material: Jane Austen, Dracula, The Grapes of Wrath, Anne of Green Gables, Treasure Island, the Little House on the Prairie series, The Secret Garden, Jane Eyre, all that good stuff...but I'm also desperately enamored of slightly more modern masterpieces: The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the Rings, Slaughterhouse Five, Nineteen Minutes, To Kill a Mockingbird, Harry Potter (duh, who isn't?), and...you get my drift. I also love poetry and own the completed works of William Shakespeare, which I actually (oh, the horror!) read for enjoyment. I often spend half of my time daydreaming in some form or other, scribbling down my fantasies in a tattered old notebook that I carry with me practically everywhere (yes, I know: I'm a dork. My friends and concerned family have already informed me, thank you). Usually I get most of my writing done either in class (when I should be paying attention) or at home, lying on my lawn in the shade (when I should be doing my homework...fear not, History! I have not failed you yet!) However, as my tattered old notebook is running out of empty pages and beginning to fall apart, I figured, "Why not put it out on the web, just for giggles? It's not like you're ever going to do anything else with it." So, listening to that little voice inside my head (the one that usually gets me in trouble and is responsible for my mouth blurting out the first thing my mind comes up with without thinking it through first), I created this account. And I'd like to apologize to anyone and everyone who thinks anything I end up putting up here is a horridly, disgustingly atrocious waste of time, either to read or to write, and allow me to say...I will probably agree with you. But, ah...Que será, será, right? Right. So...that about sums it up for me! Enjoy!...or, you know, don't...Whichever you prefer. :) ~Keep smiling...it makes people wonder what you're up to...~ |
