Desperate for admission into Beacon, Jaune strikes a deal with the God of Darkness for a supreme ability. A gift like The Gamer requires significant sacrifice, however, and Jaune's lifespan bears the burden. With a broken ability but only 5 days left to live, postsecondary education becomes the least of his worries…

Their first year at Beacon is complete, and summer is breaking teams apart. Some students will come back changed, none more than Jaune Arc. Training with a mysterious figure he refuses to name, Jaune has added to his arsenal as a huntsman, and a person. It remains to be seen what he will do with these new weapons. Canon through V2, character elements through V6 and After The Fall.

What happens when you take a world doomed to fall at the hands of darkness, and give it's guardians a chance to right the wrongs? You'd probably get a better story than this. We're now here to let RWBY and friends watch several universes starting the blonde noodle himself, again, for like the fiffteenth-hundred time. Set so V3 wouldn't happen until 2nd year. Maybe along the way also find something between them that will lead them to rethinking their relationship as simply friends to something more? Two idiots decide it would be a spiffing great idea to break the resident knight's heart. It ends badly and kickstarts an epic war for love at Beacon.

News traveled fast of the newly created Faunus, the Saber-Tooth Cat. The Faunus community and The White Fang were undoubtedly shaken up, none more than Sienna Khan and Blake Belladonna. One wanted to recruit him. The other wanted to help.
