GLOOSCAP m New World Mythology
Derived from an Eastern Algonquian phrase meaning "man from nothing". Glooscap (or Gluskabe) was a hero involved in the creation myths of the Wabanaki people of eastern North America.

I absolutely LOVE behindthename.com. So many beautiful mythological names, all recorded on one site. Anyways, that's where I got my pen name, which I really love, as the meaning of Glooscap is very interesting. I just preferred the alternative spelling, thus I used the second version.
