Cavendish was /certain/ Milo Murphy was a counteragent sent to ruin his and Dakota's mission, and the fact Milo is a kid isn't gonna stop him from taking drastic measures.

Milo's always had to be careful about who saw his Murphy's Law injuries-only one person outside of his family believes him when he said what caused them, while everyone else believes in their own assumptions. When attention is drawn to how much he's been harmed in his life, though, he needs to find out how to get rid of this curse...once he finds out how it started.
