One shot 8x22 AU continuation

A post 'Crossfire' fic. Kate and Rick move forward with their lives after the shooting, making big changes and decisions in the process.

Summary: Kate had left the loft without any explaination and Castle did not had the energy to confront her. It took him three weeks and a call to gather his steps but what he found, shook him.

'The blood has consumed the white of her shirt, drenched the fabric of her jacket, left her skin dull and papery, but he fell in love with a fighter, a warrior of a woman, and she can't give up now. He won't let her.' Takes an AU turn immediately after the shootout in the kitchen in 8x22, 'Crossfire'.

In the series finale we got a hint of what happened in the seven years but this is my take on the events that unfolded for Castle and Beckett in those years.

AU. Castle disappeared five years ago. Kate was searching for him without giving up the hope, until the day when he was pronounced dead after two years of inefficient searches. Their son became a rock for Kate, a reason to live. But what will happen when Castle suddenly get back? Will Kate be able to understand and forgive him? Set after season 6 finale.

Rick has a change of heart. He decides that is time to let Kate chase whatever it is she is looking for. When Kate gets the official word, she ends up in his office. She comes clean with a secret of her own. Will it change his mind, or will it change their lives?

Prompted at castlefanficprompts for 8x12, "The Blame Game", thus spoilers: What if Kate were injured, or pregnant, during this episode? I went with both and made it as fluffy as possible when there's an emergency room involved.

Richard Castle has become a recluse, living in his Hamptons house alone, writing, seeing no visitors except his family and friends. On the other side of the country, she wanders the beach and tells herself she's safe. She hates safe. (Fix-it for what the season 8 finale may bring.)

Kate is practically suffocating in the LokSat mystery that has become her life. But she can't keep pretending. The clock is ticking, and if she wants to keep her loved ones out of danger, she will need to work fast.

A post ep for 8x17 Death Wish. Castle and Beckett have a long postponed conversation. Also babies.

She looks fragile and pale and just...battered. The image is burned into his mind, swirling with his conflicted emotions. But, she's alive. The thing that overrides all of it is that Kate will be all right. His wife will recover. This is a wildly different take on what would be 8x08 I guess. It was begun over the summer as a "What if" separation concept. Now very AU.

Tumblr Prompt: After so many "lunch meetings", Kate gets pregnant and when the boys realize this they think the baby is doctor Livingstone's and awkward craziness ensues

Set about two years into the future (hypothetical season 10), apperception is having a full understanding of an event because of the conditions that inspire it. A story roughly prompted by tumblr's one-writer-girl: "Beckett tries to win them back."

She broke something wonderful, tore it to shreds. She left him, and now she needs to come home. She needs to fix this, for him, for them. All of them. A post 8x02 story.

After Kate has been shot she admits to Castle that she heard him while still in the hospital. Kind of a different way that Caskett got together. First ff so take it easy on me.

"No matter what you do, no matter the obstacles that arise or the mistakes either of us make, I'll never be able to give up on us." After nearly two years apart, Castle and Beckett attempt to find their way back home in time for the holiday season. A season 8 AU.

Kate needed him to know that she never lost faith in him. That she needed him. Most importantly that she loves him. She went to the loft to let him know. She thought that he was going to be so happy but he wasn't. Castle could not see past all the hurt she put him through. Will they ever get back to normal? (Set after 8x08) (not a lot of fluff until Chapter 3)

Beckett learns a few things while stuck on a cruise ship.

AU. Post Driven (7x01) what if Castle disappeared for 6 months instead of two and left Kate pregnant with his child? What will happen when he wakes up and discovers his whole life has changed.

Based following on from events in 8x07 and possible events in 8x08. Kate became pregnant after their night in 8x07 and didn't know. while on-board solving the case in 8x08 she becomes ill and thinks its seasickness when in fact its morning sickness!

Kate made the decision to walk away from Castle for the sake of his safety but what is really going on? What is she exactly going through? How will Castle react? This is a journey throughout the new series of events with a little addition in between, an exploration of the two characters' feelings, reactions and thoughts. Every obstacle can be overcame.

Future fic. Following the life of Castle and Beckett as parents to their free spirited daughter. From baby to teenager and beyond. Don't worry there will be plenty of Caskett. New chapter semi-daily!

Outside, cops and clerks moved about their days. She felt far away from that world. It was just her and him and he knew her and when he held her at night, she didn't feel lonely anymore. She let out a long breath. "I'm pregnant," she whispered.
