To him, it's just another routine soul collection, even if there are multiple pieces of the same soul that he needs to collect. Percy dies in the final battle against Gaea and the giants. As his dying wish, he asks Nico to make sure that Annabeth gets "her happy ending". Despite his horror and pain, Nico agrees. Percabeth, Nicobeth, and Percico are all in this piece! (Not a love triangle)

After months of waiting, Percy finally returns home after the Giant War with Annabeth, but nothing is ever easy and the road to recovery is a long one.
