Medieval!AU. Their first meeting happened in battlefield. They were standing on the opposite sides of the war. Commandant General Aomine Daiki knew the only way to have General Kise Ryouta was to win him as spoil of war. However, it was not only Kise's body Aomine wanted. He wanted to conquer Kise's heart too. Kise was not happy with his wish.

Aomine agrees to help with Kise's stalker situation, which apparently involved hand holding and attempts at conversations that didn't involve head butts, and maybe surviving angry seniors.

Kise Ryouta reminisces of past and present, while simultaneously managing to cause a small scale disaster out of making toast. (This is a sequel for Glad You Came but can be read and is meaningful standalone.)

It's in the little things, Aomine has learnt, that Kise's true beauty reveals itself. Sure, he has the face of an angel, and a body carved by gods but there's more, so much more to Kise Ryouta than what first meets the eye.

To any bypassing stranger, they'd seem like how everyone knows them; good, old best friends meeting each other again to make up for lost time. To any who knew the two well enough, though, could see there was something else. AoKi. Hurt/Comfort/Fluff.
