Hello there, dearies! I'm some random globetrotting teenager with a love for fandom and writing, but that's a bit of a mouthful so you can call me Maisie. Or I don't know, whatever floats your boat.

ABOUT ME

Me, appearance-wise: I'm pale, skinny and a bit short for my age, I have reddish-brown hair that I prefer to wear short, boring old brown eyes and a lot of freckles all over. I'm not pretty, actually I get mistaken for a boy a lot.

Me, personality-wise: Well, to start off with I have social anxiety, so I'll probably be shy at introducing myself to people on here. I'm actually a total introvert as well, although I would love to make friends on here anyways. I'm also a perfectionist, so my reviews might be a bit on the critical side, but that's just how I am. And to top off my suite of weird mental issues, I also have pretty terrible self-esteem caused by bullying I've endured all my life. So, yeah. Besides that, I'm well versed in sarcasm and have a variety of terrible grammar puns at my disposal.

My skills: None. I'm a talentless hack who's no good at anything. However, I love writing, reading, cooking, singing and math.

Things I like: People who are punctual, people who have good grammar and spelling, people who use cup coasters and people who aren't ignorant idiots. Other things I like are pirates, maps, bandanas, good books, good music, root beer, parmesan cheese and brownies.

Things I dislike: Badly written books, bad music, ignorant people, violent people, people in general most of the time.

Music I like: I really like movie and musical soundtracks, but some artists/bands I like are Marina and the Diamonds, The Beatles, Voltaire, Nirvana, Amanda Palmer, Idina Menzel and Emilie Autumn.

ABOUT MY FANFICTION

My fandoms: Game of Thrones, Once Upon A Time, Disney, Harry Potter, Repo! The Genetic Opera, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Wicked, Pirates of the Caribbean, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Les Miserables, Beetlejuice, The Hunger Games, and probably a whole lot of other things too.

Preferred pairings: I actually don't really have any. I don't ship too many couples, and I often find myself writing fics about couples I'm not a fan of just because I had an idea. There are a few pairings I steer clear of, but for the most part I'll read about any pairing. I actually prefer unknown fanon pairings to popular canon or fanon pairings to be honest.

Fanfics I prefer reading/writing: I like reading/writing Tragedy, Drama, Humor, Adventure, Family and Hurt/Comfort stories. I like stories that have good spelling and such, but if the story itself is good enough the grammar isn't a deal-breaker. I like both one-shots and multi-chapter fics. One thing I'm not big on writing is Romance, I very, very rarely write stories that focus mainly on romance, although I might add some in as a less important part of the plot. I might read some Romance stories, but I definitely prefer stories that focus on other things.

Something to note: I love reviews and PMs. They're awesome. I don't care if the review is positive or critical, long or short, but I really love reviews and they really inspire me to keep writing. And as for PMs, I'd love to receive requests, suggestions or just a general hello.
