I have been reading fan fiction since I finally got a computer and been interested to do something unique(although the chances of that are 'fairly' high). I may sound like a hypocrite here, but I haven't read one bad fan-fic. Everybody has their own style in expression,(No shit I hear a few say)
I've been into anime and manga since the days of Astroboy, Voltron and Macross(I prefer that name over Robotech which is what it's called in AUS)
In my opinion any movies from Kawajiri (Ninja Scroll, Wicked City, Cyber City OEDO 808, The Cockpit(First part) and The Running Man) and Oshii (Ghost in the Shell and Patlabor 1 and 2) are classics. My one other favourite is Porco Rosso, the animation is beyond words. However, when it comes to anime series, it has got to be Evangelion. The way it delves into religion, history(the links to WW2) and the human psyche is amazing. I will respect all comments, flames suggestions, whatever. Respect, mind you.
