Surprised and elated that anyone would actually read the things I've written.

I'm not typically an avid fanfiction reader, nor an experienced writer of such material (though I have written - but not gotten published - several stories of original fiction.) Neither is BMT my favourite series of books. Yet that is the community that has pulled me in, and I've started writing in it. Perhaps due to the less than satisfying ending along with themes that I highly enjoyed. I have a preference for Akk/Son, but I will read most things, especially if they have themes of UST and forbidden love.

From a narrative point of view, I understand why Akkarin had to die, and I'm okay with less than completely happy endings, but I am still not happy about it. The kind of fic that I will come back to again and again is the kind where that doesn't happen, even if I have a small weakness for well written POV-shifted stories following closely to the original.

Despite its appropriateness, my handle is completely unrelated to the universe of the Black Magician Trilogy. It is in actuality based on a alias and rank combo from a Tolkien society, which, wile I don't hold yet, am certain to reach in due time.

I hope to write in a immersive manner, which is why I refrain from authors notes in my story updates, and I hope you don't mind. Feel free to send me reviews and messages though, and I will do my best to answer.

On a break from my weekly update schedule, and don't know when I'll resume such regular uploads. Don't worry though, I'm still writing, only I haven't been focusing on the chapter at hand as much, and have been writing full scenes and even chapters from later points in the story. I've also recently gotten employed, and won't have as much writing time as I used to.

If you are writing in the BMT fandom and getting views from Sweden, I'm probably to blame (I'm not getting any of those so far.) The language doesn't matter, as I'll read any I don't know well enough using google translate.
