They become each other's best friends, each other's everything, unable to fight the push to become something more. Until something beautifully tragic forces them apart.

After Buffy kisses Spike at the end of the musical spell, Spike tries to put some distance between them to avoid getting his heart stomped on. But Buffy knows his love isn't real, and nothing will ever convince her otherwise. ...Right?

Jackson and April spend an interesting Friday evening together during their happy marriage bubble.

When Mac accidentally tells Sturgis she's in love with Harm, he responds a little differently than expected.

Buffy's not sure if Spike will come through for her, given that he might finally have a chance to get rid of her. A vampire that could care less who she is or what she feels. Watch their unlikely story unfold. This isn't an easy love story but then again love and life seldom are.

It's the diamond ring on her finger that catches his attention. Maybe he's had a few too many to drink, but the idea of her marrying somebody else shocks him because he tells himself that she's his, that she belongs to him.

This is a Jackson/April story! I love this couple and I love all the angsty drama that is surrounding them right now! Set after 9x16 when Jackson's mother gives him the hospital. Mature in later chapters.

He never thought he'd have chance to prove how much he loved her, or show he could be her champion when it came to making her happy. Now Buffy's back, offering Spike a chance to show that he can make her happy, and bring her back to life.

Mac is feeling all sorts of things she can't name, perhaps Harm can help her out.

Set in season 10, before The Four Percent Solution. Things are a little tense between H&M and when Mac's temper gets the better of her, she provokes him into doing something they may both regret the day after. Two-chapter piece.
