Following the events of "Once Loved, Always Loved", the fallen humans and Prince Asriel came back to life. Accompanied by Asgore they have been brought to the light of the Overworld, but to their surprise, it changed much after their centuries-old disappearance. Vestiges of the past still survive, and what is going to happen, is the story of them all...

Despite monsters were slowly adapting to human society, Asgore struggled to forget his actions, flinty as the distance from his wife. He returned to the Underground, unaware however that he will soon come to terms with his past. This is a story about his kingdom and his own life, in a quest striving for the return of the humans he killed, and grant repose to a restless spirit.
