I've always loved to read. I consider the Kindle to be one of the greatest inventions ever. As a teenager, I watched every western on TV and had crushes on a number of cowboys. After college, I got very busy with a career and married an incredible man with a wicked sense of humor (thirty-five years and counting). We live in Texas and, since my spousal unit retired, I only teach part-time which gives me a lot more time to read - and to try my hand at writing.

I had no idea such a thing as fanfiction existed until a few years ago. I have been enjoying the stories ever since. There are, in my humble opinion, a lot of really talented writers contributing to this site. I finally decided to put something out there myself. I hope some of you enjoy my writing as much as I enjoy yours.
