Read my stuff and review, you know you want to. Its good, sort of. I'm random. I like Batman. OH, who am i kidding, I love Batman. When i grow up, I'm wanna be a polygamist and marry Batman and Anakin. hurrah. OK so, back to all seriousness. Hello Batman lovers of the world, I am your fellow. I have written very many Batman stories, most of them actually not on Fan Fiction. This is for various reasons, the most prominent being that a lot of them contain OC's and my OC's don't seem overly popular. No problem though, I don't mind. As a point of reference though, I have organized all my Batman stories roughly into ages. They are below. The Copper age: I first start writing Batman and am simply exploring options at this point. Most of my copper age work is crap although there are maybe two or three that are good. I wrote many more then are actually published, but like I said, most of those were crap. Both the personalities of Batman and Robin remain flat and generic. Batman is very soft, Robin very cuddly. Stories included in the copper age: Bad dreams; Falling; The Deserter The Bronze Age: The theme changes from more Batman and Robin to more Batman and an OC of mine Autumn. Still in an exploration period and mostly Batman's personality remains much the same. Many stories were written but only one was included because Autumn wasn't very popular. Stories included in the bronze age: The Coming of Autumn The Silver Age:The emphasis now shifts, more stress is placed on Robin's juvenility. Batman now hardens up a bit to contrast Robin, but is still fairly soft. Stories become slightly lighter and more focus is put towards the usual problems of a normal child rather then the extraordinary problems of a superhero. Robin's personality is much more dynamic, Batman's slightly. Stories in the silver age include: Awkward Conversations; Driving Home; Play with Me; Monsters; Drip The Gold Age: Emphasis shifts again from Robin to Batman. A look is taken into Batman's problems, his angst and his anxieties and stories become slightly darker. Robin is there, but takes almost a back seat role in some stories in order to stress Batman's many emotional issues. Batman's personality becomes exceedingly more dynamic and Robin matures. Jason also makes an apperance. Stories in the gold age: Premonitions; Tears; Needs Met; Unprepared The Emerald Age: Batman and Robin's realtionships extend from just each other to the other heros around them. Speedy becomes a main in many and Robin's closest friend. Batman is shown as not just a protector for Robin, but helping to foster and shape the lives of other young heroes. Stories in the emerald age: Debreifing; Play date; Needles; Bat Bat Mobile | |||||||
