John gets a call from Mycroft informing him that Sherlock had become the pedestrian victim in a car accident. He rushes to the hospital to be at his friends side, only to fine out things are slightly more sinister than they first appeared.

The suicide of Sherlock leaves his associate and only friend, Dr. Watson, crippled and depressed. To save him, Holmes assumes the role he's avoided for years: the omniscient puppeteer. He is Moriarty. He will be, for John. Jocklock, Post-Reichenbach.

John is kidnapped and turned into a toddler. Sherlock rescues John and finds himself taking care of a toddler. The care and feeding of toddlers is more complex than Sherlock expected.

Jim pressed the gun into Sally's now-shaking hands. "Sebastian here has just given Sherlock a dose of poison. Every hour, if you haven't shot him, he'll get another dose. The more he gets, the worse the pain. Your choice."

When Sherlock wakes up in the hospital after the fall, Mycroft is there with some startling information: Sherlock imagined not only Moriarty, but everyone else in his life. Is Sherlock Holmes truly mad, and if not - why does everyone keep telling him so?

Sherlock has obtained some very dangerous information, which some very dangerous people want. They have obtained Sherlock. Imprisoned and almost helpless, can Sherlock's brilliant mind overcome pain and terror, to keep the secret, and John, safe?

After Reichenbach Fall. Mycroft reminisces about his little brother. A particular moment comes to mind, when Sherlock as a child was bullied and he had promised himself to never let him be harmed. Warning: Drug abuse in later chapters!

There's an incident during the case and when John wakes up at the hospital, the last thing he remembers is being shot at Afghanistan. Is it possible to develop such bond with Sherlock again? /EDIT MARCH 2013: done massive grammatical self-correction/

After the events of Reichenbach, John is injured and gets amnesia. Mycroft, who promised Sherlock he would care for John, steps in and acts as John's older brother. This causes problems when Sherlock returns. Eventual J/S.

A string of mysterious murders, a kidnapping, and a threatening message. There's a new game afoot, except this time Sherlock isn't sure he wants to play. But then, it's not like he has a choice. He promised, after all. Whump. COMPLETE!

She had felt dead inside for so long, as if her husband had beat the very life out of her. But his smile was bright and his eyes even brighter that, for a moment, she forgot to be sad. The other side of "Because You Need It"-how Mrs. Hudson met Sherlock.
