To conquer fear you must become fear
You must bask in the fear of other men
Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear.

I noticed how hard it is to endure the humiliation of a bad futuristic story; besides: people back in the XXth century actually believed that the XXIst century would be the golden age for roller blades.

Alternate history works like prediction, there is no 'accuracy' prior to make them good, but only plausibility that does.
