WHAT IS IT?

The Rugby League World Cup is an international rugby league tournament, contested by national teams of the Rugby League International Federation.

The 2017 World Cup will feature 14 mens and 6 womens teams from around the globe hosted in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

The historic tournament was first held in 1954.

WHEN DOES IT START?

The 2017 Rugby League World Cup kicks off on October 27 at AAMI Park when Australia face England.

WHERE TO WATCH

Channel Seven will show every game in Australia, while SKY Sport are the official broadcaster in New Zealand.

Brisbane is the home of the World Cup Finals but there are 13 host cities.
