Hi everyone! Zane's the name and Ive been on this site for awhile and i have tons of favorite stories. Now I'm not much of a writer to be honest with you but my Imagination tends to get away from me and i come up with random ideas. now being school I don't really have a lot of time to even try my hand at writing (i want to be a nurse so I'm putting my focus onto that first, then maybe ill try) so i wondered if anyone would take a crack at these ideas i have. I am not sure if these have been (in which case please let me know so i can read them, thank you ^.^)

Alright then idea number 1: the sword of hell

what if instead of pulling out the sword of Gryffindor from the sorting hat, Harry gets something else entirely. what if he drew Rebellion or Yamato from devil may cry? blades thought to be lost for eternity sealed away by their owners till a time they were needed and someone could control their powers. with blade in hand and a devil in his mind guiding him, watch as Harry takes the world by storm and fights his way.

now for some guidelines to this idea.

ok for the general ruling:

first off:

the swords should defend his mind from intrusion. since they will have either Dante's or Vergil's spirit in his mind they can easily defend it from attack.

second:

Harry can not put up with the Dursley's crap. they can force him back there, but he will not bow to them anymore. this way he can get what needs for his body and powers to go and can train easily.

third:

try not to make Harry overly powerful right away, ya the devil twins and can demolish anything but harry is a malnourished preteen, remember that. he can get serious boost to it but keep it reasonable.

fourth:

Harry should have devil blood, but not enough to have a devil trigger. how this works is up to you, but you can go with his magic preventing it or the devil blood is too diluted to enable the change. He still has enough to enable regeneration but never as fast as a devil trigger can. so basically he is very strong and fast but doesn't transform. (its not like he needs to anyways if operates at even half of Dante's or Vergil's starting power)

fifth:

as to devil arms, well that's up to you. I'd recommend some to add to Harry's arsenal since he does live in a world full of magic creatures. so get creative and surprise readers.

sixth:

feel free to screw around with how Harry interacts with whatever devil you give him. butt heads with Dante, argue morals with Vergil. let harry abuse Dante's power or resit Vergil's temptations to rule. free rain on that end to all who like this random ass story idea.

seventh:

bringing in DMC characters...well...no honestly. seeing as the swords were sealed for however long (not days okay I'm talking at least 500 years) it wouldnt make sense that they would still be around expect for maybe Trish and Nero. bad guys are a must though because i don't see voldemort lasting too long against an upgraded Harry without some help. so get creative here too, make up some bad guys! (hehe still don't think you have too, these are guidelines, not rules)

eighth:

yesh these are getting long. ok so i would really like to see this continue through the books (go ahead and screw with canon completely or stick too it with minor changes) then continue beyond the epilogue however long you want. I'm really hoping you go longer and show Harry having kids and the like.

ninth: dumbles *shrugs* good idiot or evil nut job. up to you

tenth:

okay i think this the last for general stuff so bear with me. parings and friendships. okay first off im not going to lie *deep breath* I HATE RON WEASLY!!! *pants* okay now that that's out of my system. i really do hate him, he is: lazy, selfish, stupid, arrogant, self-absorbed jerk. *sighs* i would list why and all that but it's been done before. if you want to make them stay friends that's ok, ill still read it if it has good character development for him. make him friends with anyone you want but Draco, he's just too far gone after second year, to me at least. what kind of sick person wishes another kid dead because of their heritage? but hey that's me, if you redeem him somehow kudos to you. Hermione is a good girl, but adjust her attitude a bit. nuff said.

as for parings:

well please no slash, now i have nothing wrong against it but honestly i cant get into reading it unless its insanely good. again im not against it, i just have higher standards for a slash story, same with Yuri stories too. (yes i know "omg! he isn't a hypocrite with double standards"...get over it!) okay, as for Ginny *sighs* been done wayyyyyy too many times, i don't really like her, but i don't hate her either. she was just never developed enough as a character in canon. don't get me wrong i like the pairing, alot of stories are really really awesome, but those are well written stories. Hermione is okay too but make sure it isn't rushed and it makes sense.

what i really prefer though is an obscure paring like harry/luna harry/fleur harry/susan. you get the idea right? something that isnt done as often. *shrugs* if you can make it good i dont care if its harry/rita. gross i know but so long as it isnt someone that is just out of whack, like Bellatrix, though i have read a couple good ones of those two it just doesnt seem possible. she is way too into voldy. *shrugs* but hey its fanfiction SO SCREW WITH CANON! *blushes* hehe sorry about that. you get the idea, do something different but not crazy. if you even try to do harry/umbridge ill shoot this rabbit *holds up a tied up bunny* you wouldnt want that? now would you?

okay now thats it for the general crap. feel free to twist and bend them as you see fit! now onto the specifics!

now if you give him Rebellion:

dark sure thing, gray definitely, good okay then. BUT NOT EVIL!

Harry should gain a lot of confidence and be his own person (play-boy, cocky fighter. its up for grabs but please let him have a couple of random Dante quirks like love of pizza or a smart mouth)

as above try not to make him a clone

slow power gain! and he should get his own guns however you want him too (devil's blood lets them work despite magic or he figures out a way around it.)

limit him to only 3 styles; doppelganger,quicksilver, trickster etc... any mix is fine (explain the limit however you want but i don't want a god harry unless you have some serious uber villains waiting around.)

okay on to Harry getting Yamato.

this is where harry can become evil if you want him too or you can take the high road and have him leaning towards good while being gray.

since Vergil only had the dark slayer style you can give harry a watered down DT to make up for it. nothing too insane but enough to give him a serious advantage against the death eaters and voldy, but still have a hard time against higher level demons.

again no cloning but picking up quirks is fine

revenge on the dursly family!!!

ok thats really all i can think of for now and i think its a good outline. *shrugs* well if you take that up let me know please, i look forward to someone taking this up.
