To imagine is to see beyond what is facing one's self. To dreams is to allow one's subconscious to infiltrate everyday life. To aspire is to open one's self up to pure, unadulterated desire. But to write, oh no, to write is something all on its own. It's imagination with reason, dreaming with complete consciousness and to aspire in the filthiest and most adulterated of senses. They say to write is to go out of yourself and reality, and though there is truth in that statement, I offer a different philosophy; writing is realism on fire. Writing is insanity with reason. Writing is wild passion mixed with logic and careful thought. Writing is conscious dreams. Writing isn't beautiful, it's ugly. It is every bit as negative as it is positive, and that is what makes it real.

This is why I write stories. In my humble opinion, writing is the thin line that separates reality from fantasy. To have such power, to have such balance, is the most beautiful thing; to acknowledge what's true and yearn for what can only be imagined is what truly drives one to the moon and back. Writing is everything; it's literature and composition and psychological and everything in between. And just like writing is everything, everything is writing.

That's how I see it, anyways.

The One That Got Away update should be coming soon, what with Seasons Of Love finally put to bed. I know that it has been a month since I have updated but I assure everyone that this story isn't dropped. Also, I wouldn't mind receiving some requests simple to inspire me.
