Meredith runs through memories of Derek in her head while she tries to come to terms with her husband's death and his ex-wife being one of the few who understands the loss.

Meredith Grey and Derek Shepherd have weathered a lot of crap, but this? How in the hell will she ever trust him again? Sometimes, moving forward begins with a jump back to the starting line. Alone in her small room, Mary can't sleep for the cold inside her heart. John seems worlds away and her life seems full of pain, but as the night stretches on it seems that she isn't the only one having problems, and maybe John is missing his other half as well...after all, it is a cold night. Slight angst but fluffy ending.

After Meredith is brutally attacked by a patient she is faced with a long recovery. The world seems entirely off center as Meredith struggles to heal. The only thing keeping her balanced is having Derek at her side. (Sound of Silence AU, if Derek had survived)

Derek's wrist continues to pain him months after the plane accident, and he has trouble staying in high spirits. Meredith struggles to help him. Short multi-chapter. Some angst and lots of fluff. Rated for language.

Mainly a MerDer story. Maybe the other characters. My Season 4 continuation after 4.11 in which I attempt to fix things. Hopefully a good healing fic. Enjoy.

Meredith decides to get away from Seattle after prom night, trying to redefine herself in an unexpected place, where people need her more than her new-found Seattle family does. Inspired by true events. What-if AU. One shot.

"John, what do you want it to say?" Mary asks as she stares at the results of the pregnancy test she's had for weeks but hadn't brought herself to take yet.

"She doesn't believe in miracles, and she's not so sure about this God fellow, but if He does exist, she's pretty sure He owes her one." MerDer. Remedy for 11.21, "How to Save a Life." Nobody pulls the plug, Derek doesn't die, and Meredith discovers the power of prayer.
