The name's Kara =D

Writing is my passion. I have two uncompleted fanfictions up right now. The Harry Potter one I am currently writing and I'm pretty proud of the amount of hits I'm getting and all the people who've emailed me (rather than reviewed...ugh) and the few who've reviewed. Those who've favorited, etc. The Harry Potter fanfic is called 19 years later. I also have a House of Night fanfic which I haven't been working on because I was pactically getting no hits or views or reviews or anything, so I sort of gave up on that one. I'm only 14, going into my freshman year of high school come September. Already I'm getting "Just quit school already nd become a writer full-time!"
Of course I was flattered, but that isn't happening, obviously =P
When I've finished writing 19 Years Later (Either that or I've gotten writer's block or the feedback miraculously came to a vicous halt for a large amount of time, which I doubt, but who knows!) I'm also going to start working on a novel. I've got aplot and several characters prepared, so all I've really got to do is start writing. However, my HP fans are already breathing down my neck for more, and I've only put up two chapters, so m novel will have to wait. Who knows, if the fanfic goes well, I might email it to JKR, just to see what the greatest writer of all time thinks of my work. If I finish the novel, and get good enough feedback, I might just try and get that published.

I feel having goals is highly important, especially to a 14-year-old writer.
I also feel that it is especially important for these goals to be aimed high, for if I don't have stars to look up to, I can never pass the clouds.
(I love when I say deep things...it shocks me.)

Writing is my passion. Along with singing/music, writing is my pasison. I love the two because they are the most beautiful forms of expression. Words you can't say aloud come naturally on paper. As fictionpress.com says, "let the words flow." Writing music not only allows me to get out words I never thought I'd be able to say, they have poetic meaning to them, and it's beautiful. Also, I can give a rythm to my thoughts. With writing, I can give all the details of my midday fantasies and share hem with the world without them ever knowing that it's coming from me, because, obviously, it would be coming out in a metaphor and through a character different from myself.
Bottom line, Writing is my passion, allow me to share it with you. Read my fanfiction, and become a part of my world, the world I love so dearly. The world which keeps me sane, keeps me from falling apart, keeps me happy, keeps me alive.
