Holy crap. It has been a long-ass time since I have updated. Well, unfortunately, none of my current stories have any new chapters to check, but it has occurred to me that I should probably link you guys to a fanfic I have been working on for a very long time with my good friend Twilit Eye. The fic is called Conqueror, and is a Zelda fanfic. It can be found at the following URL:

It is an alternate-reality fic that branches off from the story at the end of Majora's Mask. Instead of Link triumphing over Majora, he is instead possessed by the Fierce Deity as a consequence of using the powerful mask, and after the Fierce Deity destroys Majora, he goes on to dominate Termina. His ambitions don't stop there, though, and he intends to dominate the entire world - and perhaps more. The story initially focuses, however, on a girl named Mera, recently graduated from the Académie Shiekah, and who has been assigned a task guarding the Princess's royal cortège on an ambassadorial journey to the newly discovered land of Termina.

There are currently a prologue and four chapters up. To be honest, I'm extremely proud of the work that has been done so far on it. Eventually, though, I think we're going to have to draw up a map of the world we're using, because we have placed the individual game maps all on one planet, and are using several at once. It would be too difficult for a geographically challenged guy like me to describe the world map we are using, but suffice to say trust me, it works, and it is continuous with the rest of the geography.

As to how the co-authoring works, well, to be honest, we are splitting the jobs. It's really Twilit Eye's story, and he is the one coming up with plot points, the general plotline, character interactions, and so forth. I, Grammar Nazi Keski, am taking his outlines, and his verbal explanations, and writing them into long, verbiose, and pedantic prose. Delicious, no?

Anyway, go and read it, and favorite it, and subscribe to it, because it's awesome! And for those of you who are wondering, it does include canon characters, but they are not the focus of the story.
