Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter.

My name is Bill, more or less. I'm currently enrolled in Creative Writing course at my local High School - where I am a senior. I'm a resident of Northern Virginia and have been my entire life. Things that influence me most include politics (thanks to my geographic location in comparison to DC's), my gf, my music (mood), and my remaining friends. I'm fairly new to the writing world, if you were to ask me. Well, if you to ask my parents (who have a bit of a distaste for me, I might add), I'm simply new to the world. At the very least, I'm new to the serious writing aspect of it all. I don't intend to carry out my writing as a base for a career; I don't think I could bear dealing with my pieces everyday. Although, I do wish to go into another form of art - photography. Granted - I have had no schooling in my high school, but I did take a course in the District and have had many experiences. That was a bit of a tangent (I do that A LOT), but what I meant to go on to say was that I write prose a good amount. My teacher tells me it's poetry, but I simply think it's just something I thought up. I had someone ask me today (who was editing my piece I'm to turn in soon) whether my piece was poetry or prose. I'm not sure how to answer anymore. I thought it was prose, but it often evolves into my own concoction of me taking thoughts and expanding on them. I just write it poetically so I don't have to construct all those pretty paragraphs every one else is building.

I suppose my writing could be considered "emo" at times. Really, I hate to say that term because of it's acquired negative connotation, but I suppose it meets the definition at times. Not the "I'm gonna go fcking kill myself," but perhaps hints of it in the piece. Those pieces are usually the ones that I write early in the morning, and I start the day off wrong with my gf or somethin'.

My world revolves around three things (not including good ol' Sol).

1) My writing - I already described that.

2) Video Games - I'll admit that it's a bit of an obsession at times, but I'm not the kind of gamer that plays for the opportunity to deal out coke and shoot little girls - I do it for the story line. Not to mention stopping in awe of the amazing things they've done with the graphics. Usually, the details and the story line spark ideas for my pieces if I'm in a spot where I can't quite find a good subject.

3) My music defines my life. I can't tell you how it sickens me to hear some people say it. I think it's more because they think they'll find common ground with someone by saying it. But, besides that, I think some might call me a little more hardcore about my music. I won't lie to you and tell you I listen to a little bit of everything. I listen to a lot of METAL, TECHNO (hardstyle, trance, happycore, EBM, breakbeat) and 80s rock, and all forms of Alt Rock. I also listen to many video game soundtracks (mostly for bkgd noise) and select country and 90s pop. My absolutely favorite music genres are Metalcore/Gothcore (Atreyu/AFI), Thrash Metal (Norma Jean, BMTH) and hardstyle bands like Grendel or Psyclon Nine. I don't usually like songs that are overplayed on the radio, or that everyone will say is their favorite song - but I will admit to adoring Basshunter's work on the Bassmachine and LOL albums. I didn't enjoy all of Blandat, but maybe some of it.

Okay, that's enough for me. If you want to be my friend, or you like my writing, or you think I'm a bloody moron, by all means, let me know. I accept constructive criticism, for those of you assholes that want to spam me with hate mail. But for all the other mature ones out there, I love hearing from most everyone. I love discussions about things we might have common interests on, or even if we have opposing views (as long as we're both cool about it, not like "I'm not gonna stop arguing until I've convinced HIM that he's wrong, and I'm right." ... Yeah. That should about cover it.

Why is it that every time I have a good idea, I get in trouble?
