Poll: Should the TaurielxKili romance happen in my upcoming Hobbit fanfics? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 18 stories for Final Fantasy VII, Lord of the Rings, Naruto, Inuyasha, Rise of the Guardians, Legend of Zelda, Star Wars, RWBY, and Mass Effect. Name: Keep Calm and Be Ninja Age: ???? Likes: ???? Dislikes: ???? What? You should've seen that coming. Info on my writing: First: I do my best to "stay true to the characters" as they say, although no one is perfect so sometimes I fail. And sometimes I really just fail big time and completely miss the mark. But, that's how we learn. And I will work my hardest to get them right. Usually mixing in psychology helps get me inside their heads, but then again I don't know much psychology (yet) so...yeah. Second: I like to say I'm basically a logical and reasonable person, so I'm not gonna just make everything convenient for my OC just because it's easier. I follow the rules of whatever universe the story is in, and not make anything that's totally impossible possible. (Plus sometimes I'm evil and find it entertaining to punish my OC's. Don't judge) For instance, if I was writing a Naruto fanfic I'm not going to make my OC stronger than Naruto and defeat all of the Akatsuki members by herself/himself. Just because something seems cool and/or easy, doesn't mean it'll make sense. And there will be frustrating moments in my writing where you just can't stand a certain part or it's extremely suspenseful with a cliffhanger. Like the OC or main character or whatever getting picked on by an extremely snotty person. Why? Because it's happened in real life and it's something the audience can relate to. Not only that, but it can sometimes help a character develop or a relationship of some sort. Relationships and growth come in stages, they don't just happen. There are many other reasons why these things happen in stories, but if it was all sunshine and rainbows then you'd get bored really fast. Unless it's a collection of cute, heart-warming one-shots or something. Then that's a completely different situation and it's fine. Third: I'm adding this because not only is it a rule, but also a warning. I will not stand for any flames whatsoever. I support and encourage constructive criticism since there can only be improvement when it comes to writing. People who review my stories or others and flame them will be called out, and if the flames continue after a couple of warnings, I will report whoever it is. No one deserves to have their writing insulted or ridiculed because of some flaws it might have. It only destroys that person's confidence and hinders their ability to express themselves through writing. In my personal opinion, those who flame others are full of spite and anger Fourth: I like to create original characters (AKA OCs) that have flaws, but if anyone tells me a female OC is too OP or "Mary Sue", I'd like to have a talk with the said person. Do you like Luke from Star Wars? Anakin Skywalker? They're pretty OP and Mary-Sueish aren't they? Yet at the same time total whiney babies (even though I love them both, they ARE). Like Naruto? He's pretty much the definition of OP and Mary Sue. And if it's only because my OC is female, I will entirely ignore whoever tells me my OC is "too much" or "too perfect". Personally, I love writing very strong female characters from time to time, because it's often very satisfying to be able to write a female character that makes people tremble from her power and so on. Not saying I'll do it often or make it a trend of mine, but once in a while they'll pop up and I don't care what anyone else says about it. Both males and females can be equally flawed or OP. Either way, you know it's awesome to read/watch such awesome and OP characters. Don't lie. Well, these are my rules, so besides that I'm good. Complete Fics The Other Ancient-First in the Freedom's Wing series. Summary: I just wanted to make things better. I wanted to feel free and for my twin sister Aerith to finally experience the same. But in the long run, I had no idea what I'd gotten myself into to try and achieve that freedom. First in the Freedom's Wing series. One-Shots Aerith's Special Day-FFVII Summary: It's been three years since Cloud and the gang went on a wild adventure to bring down Sephiroth, and a few months after the events of AC. It's Aerith's 25th birthday and Cloud and the others want to make it memorable. But Cloud has a surprise for her no one expects. How will it go? Summary sucks, I know. Made for a close friend's belated birthday present. Rated T. OneShot. Side note: This is slightly AU in which Aerith is still alive (obviously). Slimy Shoes-LOTR Summary: Merry and Pippin are enjoying a beautiful day of mischief when they decide to mess with Yáviën. Will they be successful in their prank? Or will they invoke her wrath too soon? Oneshot based on a prank vaguely mentioned in Chapter 2 of Morning Star of Rivendell. The Love That Could Never Be-FFVII Summary: Love. Something tangible, yet something everyone is capable of having. It embodies itself in friends, family, lovers. One could love romantically with several different people. But for others, there is only one in which their hearts stir, smiles come unknowingly, and happiness is abundant. For Cloud, it was her. And he never got the chance to have her. Oneshot. Rated T. Side note: It's also canon. At Last-FFVII Summary: At last, he was forever at peace. Post-DOC. Unbreakable Bonds-Star Wars/Rebels Summary: Ahsoka reflects on her connection to Darth Vader after discovering his true identity, and realizes that perhaps she isn't as prepared to face him as she initially thought. Takes place a little bit after Siege of Lothal, once Ahsoka wakes up from her black-out. Oneshot. A Destiny Shattered-RWBY Summary: Pyrrha Nikos thought her destiny was to become a full-fledged huntress and protect the world, not become a martyr. But she did, even if it wasn't what she wanted...hinted ARKOS, mostly just angst/feels because PYRRHA. ONESHOT. Morning Glories-LOTR Summary: Morning Glories shaped her life into what it was now. During a night on guard duty with the Fellowship, Yáviën cannot help but reflect on the person that introduced her to the flowers in the first place, and how much she misses her. ONESHOT Living On-RWBY Summary: Pyrrha Nikos is dead, her ashes scattered by Cinder until nothing remained but a tiara. While RNJR travels to fight in honor of her sacrifice, Jaune finds himself before a familiar house in Mistral. There he will find new hope and how a person can live on after their body is gone. ONESHOT and hinted ARKOS. Across The Sea-Mass Effect Trilogy Summary: She was a dying star collapsing in on itself as it bids a dramatic goodbye to the galaxy. But she didn't fear the end because there was someone waiting for her she needed to meet again across the sea. ONESHOT Tu-Fira-Mass Effect Trilogy Summary: Shepard is one hell of a soldier, friend, and ally. But even she has limits. Thane's death is the final straw, and Shepard finds herself struggling to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart. Maybe a close friend can help guide her if but a little. Post-Thane death. Fem!ShepxThane Recovery-Mass Effect Andromeda Summary: After they escape the Archon's flagship and save what people they could, Sky is hit with the realization that she died. What can a Pathfinder do to get past that? ONESHOT In-Progress The Inevitable Crisis-Crisis Core FFVII-Second Installment in Freedom's Wing series Summary: Autumn takes it upon herself to finish what she started, fueled by her mentor's death. But leaving all she loves has become increasingly difficult, and disturbing visions plague her due to her reopened connection to the Planet. Can she alter what destiny has written? Or is the fate awaiting everyone inevitable? Autumn x Cloud's theme: "I Am Yours" by Really Slow Motion Autumn's theme: "Soldier" by Fleurie Lorie's theme: "Sunset" by Florian Bur Jason's theme: Trystan's theme: "Tristan" by Two Steps From Hell Sarrel's theme: The Wandering Flame-Rise of the Guardians Summary: A new spirit rises from the ashes 200 years before the events of ROTG. She has no name, no memories, nothing except her purpose: bringing summer when the time calls for it. When she is summoned to become a Guardian, will this spirit discover who she really is? How is Jack Frost relevant to her? Will she be able to triumph over the obstacles ahead? Eventual Jack Frost x OC. Rose/Anna's theme: "Girl on Fire" by Alicia Keys Morning Star of Rivendell-LOTR Summary: Yáviën is the youngest daughter of Lord Elrond and the most adventurous of the siblings. When she embarks on the perilous journey to destroy the One Ring with the Fellowship, the she-elf finds herself falling for a certain fair-haired elf along the way. Rated T for violence. Honor of the Heart-Naruto Summary: She always managed to find strength in loss, whether it was during the Third Shinobi War or the horrors of becoming a ninja. But after the Kyuubi Attack, Akari Nara struggles to pick herself back up. Will she be able to honor her heart or just go through the motions? Perhaps the answer lies with a silver-haired boy that is hurting just as much as she is. As Strong as Wisteria-Inuyasha Summary: Losing everything was hard enough. Moving in with relatives from so far away difficult still. But getting dragged into the Feudal Era? That was a bit of a stretch. Rated T for violence and later swearing. Seina's theme: "Sakurairo Mauokoro" by Mika Nakashima Risa's theme: "Sayaka" by Yugo Kanno Counterbalance-Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Summary: The space of the Triforce was never just space: it was another Triforce. And the one chosen to bear its burden is a teenage girl dragged into the realm of Twilight Princess, where she must fulfill a destiny written decades ago alongside the Chosen Hero. But doing so will not be easy, for the shadows yearn for entropy and chaos to consume not only Hyrule but her beloved Earth too... Crap, I'm beginning to see a pattern here *sigh*. Just for the record, not all of my fanfics will have both parents or one parent dying. I'm actually gonna have both parents alive in upcoming fics, so stick around if that's what you're hoping for. Upcoming Fics Decisions, Decisions-FFVII Crisis Core Summary: An ordinary senior trying to endure his final year of high school is ripped out of his own world and placed in the midst of Crisis Core. Now, everything occurring in one of his favorite video games all rides on his decisions. Caution will be his ally, for if he makes a single mistake, it could send things spiraling down faster than he can rectify it. A Gentle Perseverance-Undertale Summary: She never gives up, even if she wants to. But almost equal to her tenacity is a kindness everyone she meets comments on. After her life changes from boring to an unbelievable adventure when she falls down Mt. Ebott, a young woman discovers she's not exactly supposed to be there. How will this glitch affect the story? What will she decide: free monsters or stay trapped with them? Crossfire-Mass Effect trilogy Summary: She was an invisible nobody going through the motions of an average life when she's thrust into the world of Mass Effect. It would've been fine if it wasn't for the fact that she was thrown into it a bit early... to be precise, twenty years early. How will her presence alter the course of events? Will she ever find her way back to her family? Or will they come to her? Home is Where the Heart is (tentative title, might change later) - The Hobbit; prequel to Morning Star of Rivendell Summary: A quest to reclaim a fallen homeland brings an unlikely group together, including a domestic hobbit, a mysterious ranger, a former champion, a wizard, and countless dwarves. It will become an unforgettable journey where destiny is tested, courage is born, and unbreakable friendships are forged. OC x Thorin and OC x Fili OC x Thorin theme: "Like the Dawn" by The Oh Hellos Pathfinders (tentative title, may change later) - Hunter x Hunter (a mixture of the manga and anime) Summary: They'd never known normal. It'd always been one job to the next. But a couple of years after her older sister ran away, Nyx was determined to navigate her own path in life, wherever it may take her. And it just so happened to land her in the last boat to the Hunter Exam. May the insanity and drama ensue! Nyx's Theme: "Power of Will" by Alan Al Lilith's Theme: "Rain" by Ed Carlsen If you are insane but intelligent, put this in your profile! On a Sears hairdryer: Do not use while sleeping. (But, when else will I be able to do my hair?) On a bar of Dial soap: "Directions: Use like regular soap." (Ohhh...see, I thought different soaps had different methods of use.) On packaging for a Rowenta iron: "Do not iron clothes on body." (I'd say that method of ironing works very well.) On Boot's Children Cough Medicine: "Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication." (That is correct, we need to stop them five-year-olds from driving them fancy cars.) On Nytol Sleep Aid: "Warning: May cause drowsiness." (Well, isn't that the intention?) On most brands of Christmas lights: "For indoor or outdoor use only." (I had no idea there was an in-between use.) On a Japanese food processor: "Not to be used for the other use." (..I have no idea what that means..) On Sunsbury's peanuts: "Warning: contains nuts." (Go figure...I wanted almonds!) On plastic wrapping: "Do not put on head...may result in suffocation." (But...suffocation is fun!) Now that you've smiled at least once, it's your turn to spread the stupidity. Copy and paste this into your profile! XD (copied and pasted from Link's Rose, as well as the female comebacks waay below.) Praise the Lord! A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone.
