Update: May 2019: Since my mother was diagnosed with cancer, fought a long and painful battle, and finally lost her war 3 years later, I just haven't found it in me to write. I was her sole caretaker and it consumed me utterly. She and I were very close, more like best friends than mother/daughter. I miss her deeply. Perhaps one day I'll find my muse again in Twilight. Right now, my current obsession/enthusiasm is SEAL Team.

Update: March 2015: I've started publishing my new story, Duty and Honor, it's a Bella/Jasper fic, and I'm excited about it. I've tried and tried to regain my inspiration with SOTWOM, and frankly it's just not there right now. The trouble I'm having with my eyes makes the story hit a little too close to home atm. I do plan on continuing it, but it will be a while. Meanwhile, I hope all of you enjoy DaH.

Aug 2014: Yep, I'm still around. My comp died in the middle of Come What May. Given I was less than thrilled with the story, that one is now dead. If it comes back, it will be a Jasper/Bella pairing as Edward in that scenario just left me cold. Someone to Watch Over Me is not dead, just have to recover my post crash mojo. I'll probably work to get the rest of a current story out of my head before picking SOTWOM back up. My health issues remain, especially my eyes, which slow me down enormously. As always, your patience and understanding is deeply appreciated.

Sept, 2013: Many have expressed disapproval and/or frustration with my lack of regular posting. Please rest assured that I do not intend to abandon my stories. I have developed many health issues since January which have severely curtailed my access to a computer and the energy necessary to create. I thank you for your patience and understanding. /Update

I've always enjoyed storytelling. Even as a child I'd create snippets of stories out of shows and books that fired my imagination. Now, I write my own stories as well as those same snippets.

I'm also an artist and sometime computer guru. The last more lucrative, by far, than the other.

Just a few observations, opinions, and facts:

I'm an HEA kind of gal. All the stories I read have to have it (I've been known to read the end first just to make sure) and all the stories I write will have it. I may surprise you at the form it may take, but I promise the warm fuzzies at the end. It's just the way I roll.

I'll not shill for reviews. It's cheap. Surely the big white box at the bottom is reminder enough, and asking for reviews just betrays a lack of confidence as a writer, imo. Getting reviews is great! Asking for them ahead of time, not so great.

Just because a piece clears a spell checker doesn't necessarily mean everything is actually spelled correctly. Fan fiction is rife with really amusing sentences, all unintentionally written, because the author relied on the spell checker just a tad too much and ended up using an incorrect word anyway.

Smashing names together or smashing adjectives with names together is infantile. IE Brangelina. This usage is painful enough in story descriptions. To use it as actual nickname by a character? I lose the ability to form the words to accurately describe how much this destroys the appeal of the story for me. Despite what some people think, it is not cute, charming, engaging, or entertaining. Unless you happen to be a giggly twelve year old. Just sayin'.
