My favorite subject to write about is the Star Fox series from Nintendo. I primarily focus on the events of Star Fox 64, but occasionally stray into the more modern games. I enjoy taking an in-depth look at the individual missions of the game and filling in the blanks that the game leaves. For example, my fic Defeat at Fortuna takes a closer look at the Fortuna level in SF64 from the perspective of Star Wolf, primarily from Wolf O'Donnell's point of view, and Spectre takes a look at an alternate history of the Katina mission. Lately though, I've been penning humor fics that poke fun at every aspect of StarFox, their world, life in general, etc. The humor and funny stuff is where my true niche lies.

I say Star Fox is my favorite thing to write about, but that's not to say I won't stray into other games later on. However, I am a strict Nintendo fan, as the following section will show. Here's a tad about me:

-Super Mario Brothers (Yup, 8-Bit still rules)

Favorite Movie

I'm not usually a movie person, but I'm really into the Pirates of the Caribbean series right now. So much so that my second-newest fic, Pirates of the Cornerian, borrows heavily from the Pirates universe. More on that later. Go Barbossa and Davy Jones!! (Even the bad guys are cool in this series.)

Current Pass-time

I am the lead admin and Commandant of a small little ProBoards site called Hanger 72. A small mercenary group called Spectre Squadron is based there and lead by...me. I don't have the time or space to explain all of it, but Hanger 72 is essentially a military space station abandoned by the Cornerian forces after the Lylat Wars located in Sector Q, a fictional nebula in the Lylat System's outer regions. When you enter the site, you are plopped down in the middle of a fanfic style environment where your writing and ideas determine what happens to you. Also, we have a fanfic section so you can post your work here and let even more people see it. All of my fics are posted there before they come here. Come on over and check it out! I wrote that a long time ago. The site is still up, but it's kinda dead. Anyone wanna help me revive it?

Anyway, I'm now spending my time at another proboards site by and for writers. There is a small fan fiction section there that I have taken upon myself to fill up, and I'm sure the admin will appreciate anyone else helping out. The site is called Poetic Horizions, and primarily focuses on poetry, though prose and other forms of art are welcome. I hope you decide to check it out! I post all my stories there in a much slower and incremental manner, but I add easter eggs on every post. I do commentary, too, so if you want the best reading experience, check out my fics there.

Current Works Posted or In Progress

Defeat at Fortuna - My first fic posted here. It, as mentioned earlier, details the events of the battle at Fortuna as told from Wolf O'Donnell's perspective. Just how was the bomb planted at the base? Why are ships coming out of the base? All answered and more in this one.

Who Desires to Attain the Status of a Millionaire? - This is a comedy fic that I penned almost by accident. Basically, the StarFox team is out of money and they're willing to go to extremes to get more. So, they go on a game show. I spoof anything that can be spoofed in this one. If you actually like Rosie O'Donnell, Donald Trump, or Super 8 Motels, I apologize in advance.

Pirates of the Cornerian - A sequel to Millionaire, just as funny, and the second in my "gameshow" series of fics. It picks up several weeks after that one ends. The StarFox team has just won one million credits, and they have gone on a spending spree. The gang is hanging out on Krystal's yacht when they begin to ponder the history of Piracy in the Cornerian Sea. As a flashback takes over, hilarity ensues as team StarFox's ancestors meet up with Captain Zach Sparrow and his avian crew. There's even a gameshow in there, which is eerily reminiscent of a scene from a Paper Mario game...

Duel of Aces - This is a short 800 word fic that I penned on a whim. It was originally going to be titled "What! This Can't Be Happening," and be a first person from Wolf's POV as he got shot down by Fox. But as I began to write on it, it got darker and more tragic. It ended up being more of a commentary of the cruelty of war. This is way out of my normal niche (humor) and also my first T rated fiction. It could pass with a K, but I was just covering my tail. Anyway, it is set in the aftermath of a massive battle in the Lylatian Civil War, and the only two pilots left are Wolf and Fox. Both are still barely managing to hold their nearly-destroyed ships together, and the story describes their struggle, thus the title. It reads more like poetry; basically being one big metaphor. Anyway, it's quicker for you to just read it than listen...err, read...me drone on.

Merry Christmas, StarFox Style - I had to write a Christmas fic. This one has little plot, little anything for that matter, but it's a good short read to give you the warm holiday fuzzies.

My Characters

Reginald Phlubbin - He's the host of the gameshow Who Desires to Attain the Status of a Millionaire? and makes a cameo in Pirates of the Cornerian. Kinda smug and bloody rich. And that's about it.

Capt. Zach Sparrow, Capt. Jacques McCloud, Draco Lombardi, Skippy, and Cris are my characters from POTCornerian.
