Hey there~

I'm Yuxie, pleased to meet you all. I'm seventeen, my birthday is in October, and I'm Australian. My hobbies include writing, reading, playing netball and singing.

Hm... I'm aiming to be an English teacher, and write in my spare time, when I'm older. I'd love to do something with my singing, but I'm realistic enough to know that there's a one in a million chance I could get anywhere--but! I'm keeping my hopes up ;)

What I Like:

Television:

I'm a bit of a Sci-Fi nerd, as much as I'm ashamed to admit it... but I love Stargate (both Sg1 and Atlantis), and the occasional Star Trek my parents watch when I'm TRYING to do my homework... I absolutely adore Buffy and Angel, and Firefly. Animated-wise, I love Family Guy and South Park. Stroke of genius, those shows :)

Music:

Man, I listen to the most diverse range of music imaginable. I love all that '80's music, and the modern stuff, rock, pop, broadway, opera, etc. I, however, do not tolerate hip hop. frown I'm very into Korean and Japanese music. Favourite bands or groups... Super Junior, Frost, Nightwish (since they got their new vocalist) and L'Arc~en~Ciel.

Movies:

I'm not much of a movie person, because I can't sit still that long. I have to say, though, I love all those Disney movies, not the Disney-Pixar so much, even though they're still good, but the drawn musical Disney movies. Nothing's like them :) I don't have one favourite movie... because the ones I watch I love. But I like The Fifth Element (the music in that is incredible), Little Women, Harry Potter (even though they aren't as good as the books), and Thumbelina, because that isn't actually Disney.

Books:

I read heaps. There are so many books I love. Right now, I'm into Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series. God, I love them so much. Harry Potter is also and always be my absolute favourite books. I love Sweep (known as Wicca down in Australia) by Cate Tiernan, and Lee Harper's To Kill a Mockingbird. C.S.Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia are also brilliant.

General:

I love babysitting, which I do in the time I'm not at school, work, doing homework, or playing netball. I adore children. I also love going out with my friends: we've recently started a 'going out to the pub for dinner once a month' thing and I've never had so much fun in my life. I'm not the shopping kind of person, and neither of my friends, so it suits me fine.

Pairings for stories don't bother me. I'll read or write whatever.
