Furthermore, some of these stories were written as a way to cope, and there will be content present that is 1) unacceptable, 2) illegal/immoral, 3) offensive.

This may or may not include the following, and this is likely not a complete list: self-injury, pedophilia, incest, rape (NonCon), violence (domestic and otherwise), and generally inappropriate/unhealthy/possibly abusive relationships. There will always be warnings present before the actual content of the fic.

I do not condone any of these things, nor do I fetishize them or believe them to be "okay" just because they are fictional characters. I do, however, know that writing about certain things makes me feel better about past events, and that it helps me cope. Therefore, I would appreciate it if hate comments regarding things of this nature are kept off my reviews and out of my PMs - it isn't necessary, it's ignorant and proves you read none of this, and it over-all solves nothing. Got a problem? Go out there and make a difference - donate, support people, take a stand against the bad things in this world... but don't waste your time yelling in the comments about an offensive fanfiction, or trying to guilt people into not writing something just because it's "bad." Not all writing is rainbows and sunshine.

Another Note: Just because I write something "shippy" for a pairing does not necessarily mean I "ship" them. It just means that, at that time, they were the characters I latched on to when I felt the desire to write about that particular topic.
