Dabbled in writing fanfic in the past - I wrote some spectacularly terrible Charmed fanfic in middle school and I wish I'd saved it because I'm sure it's hysterical - but I do still have a few old SVU stories floating around here that are pretty OOC, AU and just silly good fun.

Currently I'm just a reader and a fan!

I tend to focus on strong, female characters brought to life by compelling actresses when watching TV and my fanfic habits have historically followed suit. It started with ER and a love of Abby Lockhart, moved on to Olivia Benson of SVU, then Addison Montgomery of Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice.

I'm now deep into my Emily Prentiss Criminal Minds phase and barring cross-overs, this is the only fandom in which I'm actively reading. When I love something I go all in!

I'm a huge shipper by nature, so I often seek out stories featuring my favorite leading lady in a romance. In ER I would read Abby/Luka and Abby/Carter. In SVU it was Benson/Stabler and sometimes Benson/Cabot. In Grey's/PP it was Addison/Derek, Addison/Mark and Addison/Alex. And in CM I can get behind Emily and pretty much anyone if it's well-written.

Though I tend to gravitate towards romantic entanglements, I also enjoy great case-fics, thrillers and dramas centered on my fave female protagonists. Sometimes you need an emotional outlet, a nice cry or a good scare and there are so many authors out here that excel in those arenas.
