Cursed Blood

Gomennasai for not updating Cursed Blood for years now. This story will not be abandoned.

For some reason Fanfiction.net refused to let me edit Chapter one so I had to delete it and repost the story. Sorry to those who added it to their Alert list. Hopefully I will not have trouble updating in the future.

Chapter one has a few modifications done to it as well as an extra paragraph. I was planning on making it much longer but decided instead to split it into two chapters because I did not want subtle hints and clues to be hidden behind mindless drabble that did not really play an important role in the storyline.

Chapter two is still not complete. Dialogue will feature in the next chapter. The only reason I did not mention names in the first chapter is because I wanted to see if I was keeping everyone in character as much as possible. Obviously this will not be possible for the main character in this story but I want the characters to remain as true as possible.

Arigatou gozaimasu for the reviews. Please ask questions. I will try to answer them without giving away too much.

Spaz-chan: I wouldn't call it a kekkei genkai even though it does share a few similarities. I will let you be the judge of that when it is explained in more detail later on in the story.

Forlorn

I have recently begun watching the Kuroshitsuji anime. I remember reading the manga a few years ago, and so I was shocked when I saw Elizabeth's portrayal in the anime. This past week, I began reading Kuroshitsuji fanfiction and couldn't help but notice how few Lizzy supporters there are out there. It definitely reminds me of Momo from Bleach and how little support she had from the fan base, so maybe that was why I felt the need to defend her.

Forlorn is my take on Elizabeth's feelings (more like frustrations) about her relationship with Ciel. I apologize in advance about her dark thoughts concerning her self-image. I didn't intend for that, though you can understand her feelings of inadequacy as Ciel is a demon and she is merely a human. The only female demon she has seen, and can therefore compare herself to, is Hannah. What Elizabeth doesn't know is that Hannah is considered very beautiful even by demons themselves (as Sebastian mentioned).

I also want to apologize dividing the story into three chapters instead of a long one-shot. I did this so I can effectively cut from one character's perspective to another without leaving little substance per interaction. The genre is listed as General. You will find it has multiple genres running through, as most manga stories do which is why I did not pick a particular genre or two.
