Music is my life. It's why I wake up every morning, why I keep pushing through each and every day. It's why I practice guitar till my fingers are blistered, why I practice flute till my fingers feel like they can't move, why I play piano till my hands hurt, why I sing till I lose my voice, why I read through my music theory book till I get a headache. Band class is the reason I somehow manage to sit through math class. Music is why I would give up a part of my summer just to get better. Long hours of practicing over the years have finally begun to pay off. There are days where I want to sleep instead of practice. There are days where I don't want to wake up at 4 in the morning to be at rehearsals. There are days where I don't want to take summer school so that I'm able to take music classes at school. However, I want to be the best of the best. I dream of being elite. I want to make a lasting mark on the world, I want to be REMEMBERED. I want to make it into the history books, I want people to know my name. I want to be IMMORTAL.
