![]() Hi! Age and Name? I think I'll keep that to myself. I go by Jasey Rae on here though. This account was actually made mainly so that I can respond to other fan-fiction stories, but who knows? Maybe I'll post something. I'm really new to fan-fiction, I just knew that my older sister used to post some when I was younger, therefore I had a slight idea as to what it was. So, I thought I'd check it out. Its a crazy good pass time! Currently, I'm reading the Naruto series, therefore, I'm interested in Naruto fan-fiction. When I first started reading them: yaoi? Made me cringe. But somewhere between now and then, I've developed a serious liking for it, and I'm not so sure how. So, now, I'm a Naruto yaoi fan. My favorite pair? Sasuke and Naruto. Their awfully cute together. But really, I don't mind if there are other pairings or if the story doesn't even have pairings. I just like to read them. I like stories that take things slow. By "slow", I don't mean the pace of a turtle. I mean that I'd rather you really get to know the story and the characters before the story is over. Yes, fan-fiction may generally be fairly short, but if you're going to write a story, write a story! Ever notice how books are long? That would be so that the author can pan out the whole storyline with detail. And books? (or, good books at least...), they have a point. Not one of those stupid scary movies that are just made to try, (and fail, in my case) to scare you. But, I don't mind some of the cute little one-shots. It all depends, I guess. I contradict myself. Now, although I can deal with it if the story really is good, I prefer having the characters keep the personality that they held in the manga. Or as much as they possibly can depending on the story. Also, I don't like the 'just dialogue' stories. They don't tell enough! No imagery! How are you supposed to enjoy that? Some other manga that I have become interested in (not that any of you care) are Fullmetal Alchemist (which totally changed my outlook on the world), Gakuen Alice (Too many people don't give that story credit!), .hack (too bad the one that I liked was a really short series), Cardcaptor Sakura (Actually, I haven't been successful in finding the manga, but I've been watching the anime since I was about 6), Tsubasa (Crazy good, but somewhat confusing series), and many more! Those are just the ones I can remember offhand. I'm one of those people that others look at funny because they never put down their books. It started quite recently, actually. Ever since I was really little I've been able to enjoy and appreciate manga. American books? Not so much. I just couldn't stand the story lines! Gah, they were all so boring! Then, this past summer, I picked up Eragon at a garage sale for 50 cents. I mean, hell, why not? I fell in love. Since that day, you can hardly see me walk down the street without a book in my hand, another one waiting for me at home, the manga I'm reading by its side, and a fan-fiction pulled up on my laptop. I like to multitask. I'm a night owl, but I love the morning. Which doesn't quite work out for me considering I don't have an alarm clock. I'll stay up until 4 AM reading on a school night, and I generally function best with only a few hours of sleep. I have no idea why. I take naps on a regular basis (sleep is a girls best friend) and it really screws with my time to do school work. My favorite time of day is dawn and dusk, and my favorite seasons are fall and winter, but I absolutely hate the cold. I always have a fight raging in my head, and although I may be quiet to many people, I can be quite interesting say you give me the time of day. I also quite enjoy writing. I get a kick out of it. It gives me a way to express my feelings and not have to worry about what others think. So, I write constantly. Am I good? I don't know. I haven't ever gotten up the nerve to ask someone. And considering I don't like fan-fictions when the writer can't write and the characters are too different from how they were in the manga/book, I sure hope that I am a good writer. I'd hate to be a hypocrite. Anyway, if you're still reading at this point, I'm amazed. No one probably cares that much about my bio. Pet Peeves: Stories without line breaks.
