29.07.2010 - Wow. I haven't written ff or updated for for.ev.er. I apologize. Now that I've graduated college I'm getting back to writing but, unfortunately, the fics I have will probably never get finished. Instead, you can meander over to my blog and read that..., and I'll keep trying to think up a good HP fic. Maybe something pre-Harry. You never know!

Harry Potter and the Snake from the Mirror
Harry and his friends have decided not to go back to Hogwarts and are out to find Voldemort and the remaining Horcruxes with limited help from the Order (who are tracking down Voldemort's followers). Takes place in what would have been Harry's seventh year. Relationships as JK left them at the end of book six. Rated T because it won't be too graphic (I hope)...subject to change.

Hands or Hearts
This fic is a one off about when Harry and Ginny finally get together. There is no time setting, and no dialogue - just the emotions and...physicalness. Rated M just so people don't get mad at me, although it doesn't really need to be M (I don't think).

You Belonged to Me
This is the prequel to Hands or Hearts (make sure you read that first). After the war and the final battle Ginny thought she and Harry would be together and everything would be fine. But that's not how it turned out, and Ginny is left heart broken by five words Harry said to her after the battle. She's back at Hogwarts and ready to try and forget about him.

Of All the Letdowns
This is another fic that's coming soon...so you'll just have to wait and see!!

Beware! I nitpick. I reread everything I write like 6 times, changing words and phrases, (that and I'm insane about grammar and spelling!), and trying to stay true to form. I happen to think that, in addition to creating your own storyline, FanFiction is about emulation of an author's original work. I don't want to be responsible for creating such a sickeningly disturbing and cheesy storyline that it makes JK wail every night from nightmares. So, what all that basically means is that updates will take a while, so try and stick with me. I'm just as impatient as the next person, and I hate waiting for updates, but I ask you to please be courteous.

And since I'll probably forget about disclaimers, and I know I'll also probably only ever write HP fanfics - Harry Potter is JK Rowling's. He belongs to her imagination and never "walked into my mind fully formed" when I was sitting on a train. I'm just trying to broaden my horizons and expand my imagination until I get hit upside the head with an idea all my own. So - if you recognize it, it's her's. If you don't, it's me trying to make you think it's her's. :-P
