Hey, what's going on?

My Name's Brandon and I have numerous fanfictions up, with plenty more to come. I'm updating each one when I can, but for a multitude of reasons, some because of my own fault, most that's not the case though, said updates are sporadic and infrequent. So if the story you enjoy that I'm writing is at a stand still, give me a while and I'll have it running again. How long? No one knows that, not even me, trust me on that. I will finish all of my stories though, and I mean all of them. Some will be taken down and rewritten, a few of them urgently need such treatment, some will just go through an incubation period, and others I'm updating...uh, well, not right now, but have done so reasonably recently. And to all my readers, I hope you all continued to read, enjoy and review.

As many of you might have noticed, I have a tendency to disappear. This is partially my fault, but not entirely. I am going through a lot right know, wait, this sounds familiar you say? Well, that's because I updated my profile quite awhile ago with something like this. In this case, it's less about deaths, grief and such, and more about money issues, job issues, and my living situation. As I've said before, there are a number of personal things going on and I don't wish to divulge them to the public, so I'll just leave it at that. As that, combined with the minor to moderate burnout I'm experiencing, more from not being able to write when I wish to than anything else, I've decided to take a break for awhile. How long? Not sure yet.

Oh, and if you're new and this is the first time you're reading my profile, a brief explanation on how my 'moods' affect my writing, which if you read almost any of my stories you'll have heard me mention before, is below.

When writing, I enter a specific mindset where I focus solely on the fandom I'm writing for, to the extreme. When said mindset is disturbed,it becomes extremely hard for me to continue to write for the fandom I had been focusing on. So much so to the point that everything I write feels forced and I can't stand it, writing at that point almost becomes a chore and I absolutely hate that. I love writing, I don't want it to feel like something I have to do, I want it to be something I want to do. And most of the time I do, even with my extremely aggravating method of starting up on a story, when everything finally clicks and my fingers go flying across the keyboard, I'm filled with joy and excitement as I craft stories for all of you to read.

The moods can be a gift and a curse this way, as all I'll want to do is continue writing, but when the mood is altered it brings everything to a screeching halt. I can't bring myself to write and I struggle to continue, until eventually I can't do it anymore. When that happens, there are two different possible outcomes that can occur. The first is that another mood takes over and I enter into the mindset of another fandom and I begin writing for it. The second is that I become burnt out on writing altogether and have to take a long break, sometimes a few weeks, sometimes two or three months, it varies.

On top of all that, because I get too excited, I end up trying to take on too much, too fast. For example, I've opened up several RPs throughout my stay here, all of which have come to sudden stops, because of not only my personal life, which gets in the way a ridiculous amount, but also because I'm trying to spread myself out between them, my stories and all the crap going on in real life. It's entirely my fault when it comes to this, I know, but sometimes I just can't help myself. I love RP'ing as much as I love writing, so I always, even in spite of my own warnings, end up starting one to see where it goes.

A few ended up crashing and burning, as no one wanted to join or only one person did. And the others...well, they end up getting derailed, and to all the people involved of them, I can't let you know just how sorry I am for that, as you guys are awesome and I love interacting with you. And while I do intend to try and get them up and running again, I couldn't blame everyone who had been apart of them if they decided they didn't want to be a part of them anymore, as because of me the lulls in the RP can last up to half a year or more. And I'll tell ya, that sucks from my end, who knows how bad it is for all of them.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is this, I'm doing my best and that's all I can do. I refuse to abandon any of my stories, no matter how long it's been since I worked on them. Even if it's been half a decade, I promise all of you that one day, I will eventually return and finish the story I started. I might take it down and rewrite it though, as some of my older works are horrid writing wise. Before I get off track, let me assure you I've tried every measure I can come up with to keep writing. I even went so far as to attempt to work on multiple stories at once, which goes against the very core of how I write! It worked for a about a week or so, but that was about it, and everything ground to a halt once more. So...yeah, I'm taking a break. Again. Might I still update occasionally? Yeah, if the mood strikes me and I'm able to write up a chapter, which as I've said before, with no internet at home that makes things incredibly difficult. That said...I doubt it will be often. Mostly because of the internet problem, as that makes it difficult to write when the mood strikes, as I have to wait until the next time I'm able to go to the library. Anyway, I digress.

Updates can come whenever, but don't expect them on any kind of schedule once so ever. End of discussion. Once again, I apologize. I'm very sorry guys. Just know that I never abandon a story. The only way that'll ever happen is if I drop dead, I swear.

Last thing, not gonna debate this, Brandon from Naruto Exiled is not a self insert, end of story.
