Only just joined up after getting the inspiration to put pen to paper after reading some truly good stories on here, and I thought that someone might just enjoy the story's that been floating around in my head for a while.

A little more info on what makes my mind tick:

My favorite author is Edgar Rice Burroughs. A lot of my scribbles are influenced by his Barsoom and Venus series of novels (if you have read those then you wont be surprised on my favorite type of story!) hence my storys will tend to be based around displaced human O/C's. Speaking of which...

Name: Jay Ballard, known to his friends as J/Jay

Age:27

Nationality: British

Height: 5'8"

Hair/eye colour: Light brown. Blue.

Occupations/Qualifications on Earth: Trained agricultural engineer in England, has temp worked in bars/restaurants/hotels/garages on his travels.

Favorite track on Earth: Useless byDepeche Mode.

Favorite track since arrival on Mobius: Par Avion by Mike and the Mechanics.

Background history: Brought up in his youth by his mother/grandfather in a small farming community untill their passing. Father unknown. Moved to U.S.A. at age 20 pursuing a relationship that ended in disaster and sent him traveling across the country.

Dress sense/personality: Prefers to don boots, jeans, white T-shirt covered by a tatty dark brown leather jacket and nearly always wears his beloved Bushman's hat regardless of location or event.
He is world-weary and is after a simple life, though history has proven when that goal looks withing grasp it gets snatched away. Tries to be easy-going but annoyed quickly at overly 'peppy' people. Fiercely loyal to his friends but is hurt deeply when that loyalty is misplaced.

Nationality: English

Height: 5'6"

Hair/eye colour: Blond. Grey.

Occupations/qualifications on Earth: 1940's R.A.F. pilot.

Background history: Brought up in a well off military oriented family. Father served in the great war in the R.F.C. with Jim following in his footsteps.

Dress sense/personality: Normally found in his flying jacket and R.A.F. issued cloths. Has a knack of offending people with his no-nonsense attitude, being pig headed and saying it like it is. Can show his naivety about the female of the species.
