Hey.

Due to a family emergency turned tragedy, I went on a very long and unplanned hiatus. I'm working on crawling out of it, I promise. I'm sorry it's taking me so long and that I went silent without warning like that. I've had the next chapter of Bonds mostly finished for months but depression and life have just been kicking me around. It's been a ride.

I hope to be back soon. Thank you everyone for all your faves, follows, reviews, and support. You're a wonderful spot of sunshine in all of this.

Ships I've been known to sail (not that I will necessarily write all of these, though I will definitely read them; I do NOT believe in ship hate, so please don't think I would ever be mean to someone because of their preferred ship. I am open to most anything!) :

(I will read/write either as top, trade off, in a platonic soulmate love, you name it. I prefer Luffy as the dominant personality in any of those situations though. This is my favorite pairing for Luffy and the most likely one you'll see me write for.)

I have been getting some concerns about my plans for shipping in my stories. To clear it up, YES, there will likely be shipping in my stories. NO, it will not be the main focus unless the genre is romance. I prefer nakamaship and subtlety for my One Piece relationships. Generally speaking, if I label a story as NON-ROMANCE genre, none of the ships will be explicitly stated or featured in the story.

Since I get this question a lot, BONDS OF SEA AND FIRE will have TWO romantic pairings. Neither include anyone from the ASL trio, and neither will be a "focus" unless I am writing a side story to be posted separately.

I adore ASL. I love the three of them to death, and will read most fics about them. If you love ASL (especially Sabo), go read anything written by Beyond Kailani. She's wonderful. I used to beta-read for her before I stopped having time to be a person and she's absolutely lovely. Seriously what are you doing here? Go read her stories. Bonds of Sea and Fire - ASL epic AU story involving Whitebeard Pirates :) *coming off hiatus as soon as I can recover from my depression*

Asunder - Coming soon... ASL epic AU story where Ace is raised by Rayleigh and the ASL trio never met as children :) *In production*

A Distant Promise - Coming eventually... an AU ASL story (so vague, amirite?! Let's just say it was inspired by chapter 794 and my lovely beta, Kailani-chan throwing AU ideas around with me) *In production*

ROMANCE GENRE:

Inviolable - Coming someday... Lawlu epic AU story revolving around Law finding a severely injured Luffy and bringing him home to treat him. VERY long and involved plot with multiple pairings. *Took a backseat to all my ASL AUs for now, sorreh*

Azure and Ash - My entry for the OPBB challenge on tumblr which has artwork to go along with it :3 Marco x Ace and brotherly ASL focus. Implied Thatch x Izo. *COMPLETE*

Burn With You - Coming eventually... Soulmate AU featuring Marco x Ace as the main pairing, Sabo x Koala as a secondary pairing, and Thatch x Izo on the side. Implied Zoro x Sanji (FOR KAILANI-CHAN XD) and implied Luffy x Law for the sequel

Like The Sun - Sequel to Burn With You, heavily features Law x Luffy and Marco x Ace.

Anyone But Him - Sidestory to Burn With You/Like The Sun... Focuses on Zoro x Sanji (I have been swayed to write for a ship I don't sail xD )

A Life Without Regrets -An AU in which Ace does not reach Luffy in time at Marineford... Marco x Ace, implied Thatch x Izo

Touch - Coming eventually... (lol what am I, 12 here? lolololol) Incubus AU heavily featuring Marco x Ace, Law x Luffy, with Sabo x Koala as a secondary pairing, but hints of Sabo x Ace in a strictly physical manner. Now being moved to tentative 'joint story' status with Akatsuki-Celeste under our new posting name: Synchronized Sinning.
