Anime:

Naruto/Naruto Shippuden: The anime that got me hooked on yaoi! How could I not love it? But in all seriousness, it's really good, and I honestly can't decide between the two. I mean, sure, Shippuden obviously has more going on and the Akatsuki, so it's got alot right there. But then... Original Naruto has the Valley of The End battle. Any true love confession could not be as awesome as that.

Soul eater: Like, oh my God, Soul Eater is awesome. I got hooked on it recently, and it's such a perfect blend of hilarity and srs business awesome fighting. The lack of plausible yaoi pairings disappoint me, however... but it's got genderbending, too. In the manga, at least. So if you haven't seen it, go watch it right now. I COMPEL YOU.

Death note: ~Such~ a good anime! I stopped when a certain someone died, because I hated who replaced them, haha. But it was pretty freaking amazing. And it's got decent yaoi opportunities.

Yu-Gi-Oh: By, this, I mean all three series. Original, GX, and 5Ds. And season zero, which never made it to english, because it was fairly dark themed, and probably would have given small children nightmares. I mean, at one point, the Pharoh took over Yugi, and threw this bully off a cliff. Into a river. Into the waiting mouth of a huge...fucking... worm.. thing... with teeth. It was awesome. Anyway, yeah, these series are really good, despite being all about ~CHILDRENS CARD GAMES~ my favorite would actually have to be GX, though 5Ds is tied with it essentially. Just... They're SUCH cannon things in GX (EX: Jaden and Jesse/ Judai and Johan for those who've seen it) and the story line is actually really good, especially in season three. 5Ds is... truly amazing too. You'd have to see it. But it actually has USEFUL FEMALE characters! Which means there can be yuri. 8D

Dragon ball: Add what you want to the end. I love all of it. Instead of growing up watching normal TV for small children, I grew up watching this. It's just... Immensely badass. That is ALL I have to say about this.

Sailor Moon: Sure, Serena is kind of a dumb bitch sometimes, but the fights were cool, as were all of the characters, and so was the immense backstory behind everything. I grew up watching this too, haha. Cannot hate.

Ouran High School Host Club: This is hilarious, with just that piece of romance and emotion in there that's enough to make me cry. It's got twincest too, so, yeah. Enough said, I think.

Nana: This was such an awesome anime, focused on two chicks named Nana, one a badass punk rocker in a band trying to make it big in Tokyo, and the other a girly one, come to live in Japan for her boyfriend. Stupid girl. Anyway, this was SO so so so amazing, excellent storyline and such, though the ending pissed me off. So bad. At least in the anime.

Karin (Chibi Vampire): Finally! Some vampires that don't effing sparkle! I love this one too, haha, the manga was better, because it went further then the anime, but still, it was so cute and awkwardly romantic and so AWESOME.

Other random things I fangirl over:

Teen Titans: Ahaha, I love this series, so much. The pairings are straight, but good, theres actually CANNON ones, it's amusing, and there's that extremely dark bit to it, too. Sure it can be kind of childish... but do I give a damn? NO!

Dragon Age: Like seriously, one of the best games ever. There's romance, where you get to CHOOSE one of FOUR. And theres gay and lesbian options. Not to mention all the characters are totally hilarious. There's even one whos adorkable. Anyway, the storylines decent, though a bit short, and the final battle can go so many ways. And for those other DA fans... DA2 COMES OUT SOON WHO ELSE IS EXCITED?!

Mass effect: Did you know there's a theory that Mass Effect took place in the past of Dragon Age? It makes sense, if you know the facts. Awesome, AWESOME, game. It has Garrus, too. BEST ALIEN EVER.

World Of Warcraft: YEP I PLAY WOW. Problem? Go away. The world is just so immense, and there's a story for EVERYTHING. I've read most of the lore. It's freaking amazing. It's also highly addicting as a game, too, haha. Oh, and all the yaoi pairings are really totally sexy.

Pokemon: I have. But one thing to say about this.

I will most likely end up writing mostly Naruto, although I might throw in a YGO fic or WoW every once in a while too. Oh, and straight pairings are forbidden here. BoyxBoy or girlxgirl are the only INTERESTING relationships, obviously.Oh, wait, Pain and Konan are the exception to this rule. Because they're a badass pairing. OH! And Temari and Shikamaru. Yeah.

An official interview with Kishimoto

“A group of fans asked Kishimoto what he thought about the doujinshi and fanfics of this pairing. He simply responded that it was his favourite pairing and that he always collected stuff of it. In addition, he stated that he wanted to give the manga a Shounen-ai ending” (Confirming it twice)

After the Interview, Kishimoto revealed that Sasuke was based on his best friend from High School, whom he admired and loved very much, and that Naruto was a reflection of himself and the adventures he would have liked to experience when he was young. He also emphasized that in the series there is not a love triangle, but rather a circle, like a fish biting its own tail. Naruto likes Sakura, Sakura loves Sasuke and Sasuke has special feelings for Naruto.
However, he ended the note saying that Shippuden was going to be mainly about the fights and character development.
