Here's me in a nutshell:

My name is Grace. I'm 21, I'm in college, and I've got one more year until I'm out of the blasted education system forever. I don't know what I'm going to do with my life, but I'm an English major who doesn't want to teach, so it'll probably involve living in a box. Or, if all goes well, at least a van down by the river.

I've never WRITTEN fanfiction because I expend my writing energy on what I hope will become a novel sometime soon. I do, however, READ fanfiction far more often than I can justify. Usually late into the night so my family or roommates don't know I'm doing it. It's my guilty pleasure. I'm the Lane Kim of fanfiction.

My favorite fanfiction is Harry Potter (especially if it involves Fred Weasley), Pirates of the Caribbean, Grey's Anatomy, Little Women, and Christy...which most people have probably never even heard of.

I'm sarcastic, emotionally stunted, and occasionally a little cruel in my sense of humor, but other than that, I'm a pretty delightful person.

My sister is my very best friend, followed closely by my mother and any of my various pets: Dobby the kitten, Ukulele the ferret, Shady the rabbit, or one of the others in my family's menagerie. I live half the time with my family and half the time right next to my university in a lovely little house called The Cabin with 2 of the only people left in the world who I can stand to be with for more than about an hour at a time.

I play the cello, guitar, and bass guitar. I took piano lessons for 10 years but never learned to play.

I am a Grammar Nazi.

Most of the music in my realm of knowledge was written before 1979.

I am from the South, but I'm not a redneck. And I don't like when people assume that your intelligence drops off once you get below the Mason-Dixon Line. People can be dumb no matter where they live.

I'm outdoorsy, but not athletic. Sports and I don't get along, but I like hiking, camping, going to the beach, laying outside, sitting by rivers and lakes, and my heart is equally torn in two by the mountains and the sea.

And I think that's about all you need to know.
