Prince Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz are the only remaining Saiyans after Frieza destroyed their home, yet he chose to keep them. This story follows Vegeta as he grows up under the shadow of the being who crushed his people as he seeks to become the Legendary Super Saiyan. This work is part of a collaborative project with Under8000's "Fairy Tails Don't Exist".

Vegeta, prince of all Saiyans works begrudgingly, and with a hate for Frieza, evil galactic emperor and destroyer of planet Vegeta. He soon finds himself on a mission to capture a threat to the cold empire and meets the most unlikely of allies that could bring an end to his servitude, and perhaps the lizard lord himself.

Most of Bulma and Vegeta's relationship seems to be made up of fleeting moments between vast amounts of time spent apart. Bulma, the child genius, never left home. Vegeta, the tortured boy, joins the Space Marines and never wants to come back. Only a son between them bridges the gap; or is there love, too?
