About Me:

Okay, so basically, I'm your average 26 year old chick who loves to write to escape things, the grim reality of them that I can't control. I'm pretty laid back and sweet - at least 10 percent of the time -, but I can be a bitch if I'm pushed and I don't respond well to negativity or criticism. Self esteem is probably already low enough don't need or want to hear people's negative shit or polite 'suggestions'. I'm into old 80's music, country music and most hard rock , I love to read and I love to write.

Yes, I still love Harry Potter & Twilight. I also love Anne Rice, the way she writes is so descriptive and amazing and I just fall in love with it.Also a huge Stephen King fan.

For the most part, I'm not a huge Twihard, but I am team werewolf. If I write anything for the series, it'll most likely be embry or jacob / oc because frankly, it freaked me out more than a little bit that they stuck Jake with Nessie. Sorry, no hate here, but I'm just being blunt. I do understand what the term imprinting means in terms of the stories, I just... Hmm, it just didn't make sense, his having to wait on the girl to grow up. And not to mention the past ties with Bella, I mean really, that's gotta be awkward.

Ever had an idea in your head that you know's fucking illogical, but the fucking thing won't let you go anyway? you know if you post it, you'll get flames and corrections and whatnot out of the ass for even thinking to post it? That's the predicament I find myself in with pretty much everything I write or have written. I'm not saying I'm a fail at writing (I am, really I won't bother lying, I mean I use alterna verse and shameless self inserted original characters, say whatever the crap you like about it, I don't even give a f*ck, it's the honest to God's truth), but yeah. Everything I write or have ever written is based off one damn line in a book or a movie that won't get the fuck out of my mind.

So, when I do post something, please do not give me pointers or flames or criticism. I realize that I'm not a 'good writer' hence the reason I'm working in damn retail as opposed to actually writing a fucking novel of my own. I'm not here to get better, I'm just here because writing shuts up the ideas and it gives me a creative outlet to express my fantasies and wishes.

There, I said it. I'm an unapologetic fan-girl, and there will probably be self inserts,fluff,romance, sex, loads of swearing and plots changed in my stories. You know now what you're in for, so if you wanna keep reading, great.

I'll most likely go on a mad story posting spree later on when I've got time, if I feel particularly motivated.

biography / facts about Katherine's life

Katherine Miller was born to a farmer and a registered nurse. She's the youngest of 4, 3 older brothers. The family is probably lower middle class and they live their lives in the farming community just outside of town. Her father not only grows vegetables and raises livestock, but he rides in local rodeos, as do both of her oldest brothers, and her year older brother also has just recently taken up rodeoing. They keep horses, and for a while, when the Curtis family's parents were alive and well, they kept a horse for the family that the brothers all shared.

Beyond this, Katherine's pretty much your average teenage country girl from the 60's. Both of her parents are still alive and well, happily married and she's had a relatively normal life with it's own ups and downs.

1. quick tempered. Whether it be bullying or just random crap that sets her off, once that fire's lit, step back because she's probably gonna blow. It comes from being raised the only girl in a family full of boys.
2. loyal. If you are her friend, whether you're a Soc, a nobody, or a Grease, nobody's going to mess with you when she's around.
3. open minded. she'll talk to pretty much anyone.
4. dirty sense of humor. Again, this wasn't common for most girls of the time, yes, but she was raised on a farm, with 3 brothers who are all very perverted when they choose to be so.
5. no sense of filtering. she's blunt and she doesn't give a damn who she offends. if it's on her mind, she's going to say it, because why bother hiding it?
6. competitive. she utterly loathes losing at anything, whether it be a footrace or a game of poker.
7. slightly tomboyish. Most girls like makeup and dresses, gossiping and giggling. Katherine, however, is not most girls. She likes mud and horseback rides, going to rodeos and playing a game or two of pool. That's not to say she doesn't appreciate a little pampering now and again, of course, or that she doesn't wear dresses when she has to (ie school or church, a formal dance at the school.)
8. stubborn. If she thinks she's right, don't argue. Or argue and see how quickly you wind up walking away, tearing your hair out in frustration. Either way, yeah.
9. intelligent. She's no ditz. She's not the top of her class, but she's not a slouch, either. And she sometimes tutors the kids in the neighboring farms for some extra cash.
10. passionate and romantic. like any teenage girl, she loves the prospect of love. But this doesn't mean she's just going to put out on first sight. She's choosy when it comes to the guys she likes.
11. athletic. And no, when I say athletic, I do not mean cheerleading. I mean she'll get out in the yard with her family and throw the ball around. Her favorite sport, other than horseback riding (she does barrel racing occasionally for those curious) she happens to like football,baseball and boxing, mostly because her brothers and father watch those three sports on television, and they've been to a few boxing shows (amateur ones, for those historically accurate nuts out there, they DID have traveling boxing expos back then, trust me, I did my research) also.
12. forgetful. If you tell her something, make sure you repeat it, at least 3 times, if you expect her to remember it. Her mind runs at least 3 miles a minute, she's got farm chores, brothers to 'keep in line' and other stuff to do.
13. bit of a prankster. She loves a good gag.
14. sort of shy around boys that aren't close friends, or ones she's just meeting. The girl is plain old awkward with the male species, and it only gets more and more awkward if she has a crush on said male.

2. home ec class. If she wants to learn to cook and keep house, she's got her mama for that. She prefers her mom's way to the school's way anyway. The way she sees it, her mama probably knows one hell of a lot more than their single teacher does, because she's kept a man and raised a family for damn near 23 years.
3. the whole social classing thing. it makes no sense to her, because if you want to be technical, you cut someone, whether they're black or white, or soc or greaser, they all gonna bleed red.
4. homework. if they can't teach it IN class, why should she disrupt her chores on the farm to DO IT?
5. waking up early. The only exceptions to this are farm chores or rodeo weekends. Beyond that? if it's not noon, you better have a damn good excuse for waking her.
6. giggling airhead girls.
7. obnoxious boys who will hit on anything with a skirt.
8. uptight people who gasp when she say something they consider shocking. it's annoying while also amusing at the same time.
