Author has written 7 stories for StarTrek: The Next Generation.

Howdy folks,

I'm the chatteringmagpie and I hail from the Great White North. There's nothing I enjoy more than sitting on my patio with my good buddy Jose Cuervo, a pack of menthols and either a good pulp fiction paperback or my trusty laptop. I enjoy all things sci-fi and action/adventure and some of my favourites (that's right spell check, I spell favourites with a U!) are The X-Files, Star Trek: The Next Generation, the Aliens quadrilogy, Indiana Jones (yes, even the fourth one!), Ghostbusters, Labyrinth, James Bond (especially Daniel Craig's turn), anything from the Whedonverse, Stargate (the movie), The Mummy, The Twilight Saga, Harry Potter, Avatar (even though I think James Cameron is kind of an ass), Dirty Harry, Chris Nolan's Batman trilogy and I'll watch pretty much anything where Bruce Willis has some snappy lines and blows a bunch of sh*t up.

I'm partial to the anime series Cowboy Bebop and Helsing.

I can recall the plot of any original Law & Order episode within ninety seconds.

I currently enjoy Californication, Dexter, True Blood and The Walking Dead (especially now that Rick's idiot wife, Lori is dunzo.)

My feline is a big fat dynamo named after Jimi Hendrix and my parrot, Frankie, will only talk to himself.

I love the works of Douglas Coupland, Anne-Marie MacDonald and Jeff Lindsay and I thought the Da Vinci Code was terrible.

I like a wide variety of music and I prefer to rate my preferences on a song by song basis but some of my playlist constants are Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, David Bowie, James Taylor, Joan Jett, Bob Dylan and Fiona Apple. I'm a little ashamed to admit that I like Maroon 5.

My personal motto is 'wave your freak flag high and as for the haters, well, f*ck em if they can't take a joke.'

I think off colour (there's that offensive U again!) humor is hilarious and I have a tendency to say inappropriate things in my outside voice.

I always laugh during funerals.

I'm a trouble maker and I have issues with authority but I show up for work on time and keep the place clean so my boss puts up with me.

I like to write in the romance genre because it's super fun and who doesn't love a little smutty indulgence now and again.

I created my character, Naseema and her ancient race, the Feeonix, specifically for Lt. Commander Data because he was totally robbed of a decent romantic interest after the death of Tasha Yar. I'm fully open to suggestions so if you read and enjoyed my debut tale, Flames of the Feeonix, please feel free to drop me a line if you have any ideas, no matter how ludicrous, for future adventures or any other suggestions, or even if you thought it was crap and want to tell me off, that's cool too. Happy reading, happy writing and remember, people like Joss Whedon don't become rich without people like us so revel in your fandom.

Lt. Commander Data has harbored an unconscious love for the Enterprise's emissary compliment, a rare alien entity with bizarre abilities, for many years. A Glorious Distraction reviews
Since I've hit a nasty patch of writer's block with Flames of the Feeonix, I've decided to publish a few one-shot scenarios that may or may not eventually be included in future stories. I've had a couple of requests for some android smut, so here's one. The usual antics with internal monologues, and some surprising language from our favorite android. Rated MA.
