![]() Author has written 18 stories for 39 Clues, and Pride and Prejudice. FanFiction is not my priority at the moment, but I want to stay involved because it's helped me so much. Thanks to every single one of my reviewers--your little notes make my day. Dear Reader, Well...I'm a girl who loves reading and writing and sewing and my family. I decided this might be a good outlet for some of my writing, so here it is. "Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow." I suppose that is my motto-like. And the S is for Sophie. Anyway, I'm a Lucian, 39-clues wise, and I'm a Jess fan, MDBC wise. I am a proud member of the NFL. You understand? Good for you! Few people do. The greatest earthly blessing we can choose for ourselves is to become somebody's friend. A Few Important People from FanFiction that I Want to Recognize: AShellThatSings: My real life best friend. The person that led me to FanFiction. Need I say more? RageRunsStill: An amazing author, and the first person to ever review a story of mine. Syberian Quest: A. The best 39 Clues FanFiction writer on the face of the earth. B. The one who reviews my stories with so much help, I don't know how to thank her. Lapulta: My first CC reviewer, to whom I will forever be indebted. Ballet Reader (Ninja Samurai Princess): Small people will rule the world someday, with you at the head! ABetterNinjaThanDanCahill: My beta for "Sisters." Correction, my amazing beta for sisters. whispers of water: I barely know her, and I'm already impressed. Amazing author and really nice person! Sun Daughter: The girl who stooped down from the "Great Authors" circle and picked me up as a friend. Thank you to whispers of water (now dancing amongst daisies) and ABetterNinjaThanDanCahill (now memories will last) for the awesome avatars. I'm switching back and forth between the two of you on TMA. More thanks to Drew and Kaye for the banners for "Rearranging the Alphabet." HUGS, you. A Tutorial On Old-Fashioned Speaking (In other words, how to use "Thee," "Thou," etcetera): Thou: "Thou" is used when you are talking to a person and they are the subject. For example, "Thou art happy," "Thou likest llamas!" or "Thou just ruined my shirt!" Thee: "Thee" is used when the person you are speaking to is the predicate nominative, direct object, indirect object, or object of the preposition in your sentence. In other words, all the rest of the time. Examples: "I like thee," "I throw a ball at thee" or "He just hit thee with a stick." However, in Puritanical context, grammar was not always proper; sometimes "thee" was used as a subject, as in, "Dost thee want to come to the service with me?" So it's interchangeable, really. You: This one is funny. Of course, we all know how to use "you," but in older, 16th-18th century times, the word was very formal and showed respect. Ha! Anyway, for example, "Your Grace, you look stunning today." Thy: Use "thy" to describe a subject or direct object of a sentence. A few examples are, "Thy purse is charming," "Thy right hand strengthens me," and "I love thy kingdom." Thine: Use "thine" to describe a predicate nominative, as in "That purse is thine," and "The kingdom is thine." Thank you so much to every single one of you who voted for Rearranging the Alphabet in TMA for Best Romance and Most Original, and for Flicker for Runner-up Best Drama. You don't know how very grateful I am to all of you.
Thanks for reading my profile! And, as Mrs. Pepper says in Five Little Peppers and How They Grew, "Never say you can't do something, for you'll never know until you try." Cecelia Sophie Bradley Cecily | |||||||
