My life story, darlings. It's been one whole Otaku whirl.

I have a policy: never be arrogant, but being falsely modest is too tiring, and it's always transparent. When it comes to writing, I can say without modesty that while I am confident in my ability, there are many people out there who are better than me, but that won't stop me from trying to reach their level. I know the limits of my ability, and I always try to work at trying to break those limits.

Imagination is like a garden full of rabbits... it's so easy to get an infestation, but trying to find them all is impossible. So really, anything can happen, and it's not always possible to get down all those ideas in Shakespeare quality literature. But that being said, I have a secret love of all kinds of stories. I, along with everyone else, love a well written, eloquent story. The plot can be entire shambles and drabbles, but if the style is good I will like it. But it's the same for so called 'lower quality' stories- you know the ones, where the author just relates the action and dialogue. With those stories, you can clearly tell that they put so much effort in, picturing every second of the story like it were a movie. From drabbles to oneshots to full blown novel length epics, I love fiction, and fanfiction above all because it allows us to take out own angle on the stories we love so much. That's why, in my favourites, you will get a variety of different stories. There will be varying quality and genres, but all of them have either made me laugh, cry, or simply stuck with me.

As we grow, we mature. And this will reflect in our tastes, style, and the way we respond to criticism. So, while even a year ago I would have probably cried at a story that was flamed, now I can understand that my story simply didn't suit the tastes of that particular reader. If modern celebrities have taught me anything, it's that even if you have thousands of fans, there will still be a multitude of people who hate you simply for the fact that you're famous for something they don't approve of. Everyone's tastes and style is up to them, and the only thing you can do is accept that and make the most of their criticism as something productive.
