JJ had to admit that Emily's words were too true and to deny the simple truth, she was kidding neither herself nor the brunette. The older woman knew her too well by then. Not just in the physical sense of the things that caused arousal or those things that were interpreted as soothing, but also to the capacity of her character and personality.

"So can you, can you give me something to do, Emily, because I am starting to freeze up again." JJ balled her hands into fists in her lap, turning her eyes to the window again as fresh tears began to blur her vision. The stone lodged in her throat reappeared and it didn't seem to matter how hard or how many times she swallowed, it refused to leave.

There was an urgency to just feel. To remind themselves of the good that still existed in the world, the hope and the beauty, remind themselves that just because some individuals wanted to cause and live in chaos, did not mean that they all had to.

The blonde woman highly doubted her partner would make it at all. She'd probably been called back into work, an organisational emergency, a pressing case needing the FBI's most talented attention. She could feel a low stirring in the bottom of her stomach, excitement, arousal, at the thought of doing something so forbidden and unfaithful. With a stranger none the less.

JJ turned to fill her cup with coffee and sighed. Oh, how she wished that she was each and every one of those women lucky enough to have fallen victim to the brunette's sexual prowess.

JJ's heart began to thud erratically in her chest, the muscle pounding hard against her ribs, the sound filling her ears. She watched, frozen and unmoving, as her estranged lover began to slowly walk towards her, a small compact suitcase following behind. The blonde's thoughts began to race and she found that all moisture was lost from her mouth; she was struggling to swallow.

Your body sings to me in a way that no other does; in a way that no other object or person ever could. Your skin calls out to me: the smoothness, the rippling of muscle beneath my fingertips, the feel of my lips gliding against and over every inch. Your eyes, crystal blue and bright, draw me in and leave me breathless.

An appropriate time for the ladies to share dinner with one another had rolled around and passed slowly, and with the evening dwindling away, Emily was faced with the prospect that perhaps JJ would not be home until the very late hours of night, and that the most logical and only reasonable thing to do was to turn in for the night.

Emily's hand darted beneath the table again, gripping JJ's hand tight before the younger woman pushed her any further. She pulled the blonde's hand from her jeans and hastily zipped them up, before leaning over and placing her lips dangerously close to JJ's ear. "You better follow me and you better be quick."

Emily found her hand being laced with JJ's as the woman gave a small, knowing smile; a look that made the brunette's knees weak. Without internally sending any electrical signals to her own legs, she found them moving, found herself rising from her seat and allowing the younger woman to guide her towards the back of the club.
