Hi, my name is Jess Ashby.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, and eating junk (who doesn't, right?).

I've been writing fiction practically from the moment I learned how to put pen to paper, although I've also come to appreciate nonfiction and poetry.

I'm enjoying this site for the simple reason that I love writing and reading what others have written. I'm specifically interested in the idea of inserting new and original protagonists and have been experimenting with this for a while. My protagonist almost always goes by the same name - Maria - and has a set physical appearance.

I'm planning on kicking this off with Maria's introduction to Harry Potter.
