But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.” About me I grew up in the sixties and my dad was a WWII vet, so it's maybe no surprise that I love sixties WWII shows. I love to read, and I deeply appreciate well-written stories that are heart-warming and have a sense of humor. I like historical references, and I am intrigued when fictional stories are tied to historical events, but I also enjoy reading stories that venture out into "what if" situations, as long as those situations have a degree of plausibility. I don't like torture scenes at all, especially if they are gratuitous and don't advance the story line. As a rule, I enjoy stories that stay close to the spirit and the character of the source material. Stray too far from that, and you've lost me. As for me, I try to write the kind of stories that I like to read. If others enjoy them too, that's the icing on the cake!
