Forever a Persona crack addict. Favorite Ships: Bleach: Ichihime... yup, that's it. Durarara!!: Basically all the canon ships, but my favorites are Celty/Shinra and Mikado/Anri. Vocaloid: Luka/Len, Meiko/Kaito, Len/Piko Persona: Since this is my current addiction, here are my thoughts on the relationships I feel most strongly about: Persona 3: P3MC & Junpei: Bottom line: should've had more development. I do like that Junpei is far more vocal with his jealously towards the MC than Yosuke is; Yosuke's jealously is really only apparent if you max out his social link. But, just from playing P3, I wasn't sold on Junpei being the MC's "best friend." I needed more scenes, or at least, more dialogue. He works out great, though, as the female MC's best friend. Junpei/Chidori: Funny enough, I hated when Chidori and Junpei got together on my first play through of Fes. Then, I played The Answer (I know, I know, "The Answer doesn't exist!"), and I fell in love with Junpei's character, because he and Fuuka were the only sane people during that 50 hour grind fest. I played Fes again, and this time, I saw Junpei change from a perverted idiot to a strong young man, and much of this was due to Chidori. I don't like Chidori by herself, but I love what she did for Junpei. I like to compare Chidori to Junpei's dad. They both did things that weren't good for their bodies, and though Junpei couldn't stop his dad from drinking, he saw the chance to help Chidori. What I first saw as foolishness for helping the enemy, I eventually came to see as the ability to see the true pain in someone who was hurting badly, and that's why Junpei is my favorite character. P3MC & Fuuka: I really wish there was a "friends" option in the female social links. I think Fuuka and the male MC would've had an awesome platonic relationship. I can see them being dorks about their favorite types of music. Mitsuru/Yukari: Their initial hostility is what draws me in. Unlike Chie and Yukiko, these two ladies don't start off as best friends. And when they do reconcile their differences, it's quite cathartic. Not to mention, Mitsuru gains her ultimate persona because of Yukari. Fuuka/Natsuki: I wish they had fleshed this out a bit more. Their good bye scene just seemed a little abrupt and not directed well (and badly voice acted, on Fuuka's part).Persona 4: In General: While P4 is a great game, I think P3 had a better cast of characters. That's because, unlike P4's cast, there was always some tension between characters in P3. I liked that. SEES wasn't a group that just got along swimmingly; they found faults with each other, and this had more of an impact on the story. I mean, c'mon, Ken tried to kill Shinji. Granted, Ken's not everyone's favorite character, but still. True, there's some fights in P4, but they get resolved pretty quickly and don't carry much weight. Much of the conflict is toward the murderer rather than among themselves. I wanted more interaction between the team members. P4MC/Yosuke: THIS. This is the ship that's ruined my life since 2014. They're literally perfect for each other, and there's plenty of moments in the game and anime that show how much they care for each other. That's why I like the (original) animation so much. Who's the one to save Yu from crushing loneliness during Mitsuo's battle? Who's the only one that comes back to comfort Yu when he's mourning over Nanako? That's right - it's Yosuke, his one and only partner. I could rant on and on (even throw in the fact that Yosuke had a scrapped romantic option, dammit Atlus), but I won't because that would take about twenty more paragraphs. Basically, souyo gives me life. Chie/Yukiko: I ship this a lot more casually, but I love this too. It's mainly because of Chie (I really connect with her), but Yukiko's a pretty good character, too. Again, a few scenes with them just talking (like Yukari and Mitsuru) would've helped. Kanji/Naoto: I really wish the game had delved more into this. I think they'd make a good pair, and I personally don't see Naoto with the MC. Again, the original animation had nice scenes with them.SnK: Eremin is OTP, aruani is okay, jeanmarco, rivetra ;-; levi/armin is okay, too, and i sort of like mikasa/jean. My golden rule of shipping: If they're canonically considered best friends, then I will most likely ship them, either romantically (like souyo) or platonically (like Asriel and Chara). Vocaloid Stuff: Favorite Vocaloid will always be Len. There's no denying that. My top six are the Crypton Vocaloids. I also like Gumi and Piko. Fukase has been growing on me. Favorite Producers and Songs: Giga-p, Luvoratorrrrry!! & Childish War Deco*27, Streaming Heart & Two Breaths Walking Rerulili, Knife & Seisou Bakuretsu Boy Maretu, Mind Brand & Brain Revolution Girl Patirchev, Unreal Communication emon(Tes), Shake It! & Elect(ro) BoxPersona OST: Shoji Meguro is a damn genius. My favorite songs are: Persona 3/Fes/Portable: Mass Destruction (beats Reach Out to the Truth by a landslide), Master of Shadows, Burn my Dread, Time, Kimi no Kioku, A Deep Mentality, Deep Breath Deep Breath (Reincarnation), A Heartful Cry, Living with Determination (Reincarnation), Sun. Persona 4/Arena/The Animation/Golden/Dancing All Night: Like a Dream Come True (hearing this instantly puts me in a good mood), Signs of Love (Reincarnation), Pursuing my True Self, Best Friends, Never More, The Almighty, Key Plus Words, Dance!, Time to Make History.Vocaloid is LIFE YAOI IS ALSO LIFE KIMI NI MUNE KYUN = YUMMIEST SONG EVEEER MARIYA SHIDO IS THE BEST TRAP.
